With features like a large living area, three full bedrooms, two bathrooms, and one half-bath, this property is perfect for a group of six guests. Situated within the resort area of Wild Dunes, the house offers easy accessibility to shops, bars, restaurants, and downtown area situated close to the home. You can enjoy the luxuries of the resort area such as safety, privacy, biking and walking paths, and plenty of resort amenities. The community pool is not heated and is usually open yearly from April 1 to October 1 depending on the weather. The Wild Dunes Resort area is a private resort covering a large area of more than 1500 acres. Here, you can enjoy a great experience while vacationing with your group. It offers incredible features like six restaurants, spa, and much more. With so many exciting things to do within the resort, you can make the most of the experience. And finally, after all the adventures, you walk straight to the beach within a few minutes and capture the scenic views of sunset. Super close to the beach and right around the corner from the pool, plus 6 beach towels were provided, All the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size, kitchen and living area were a tad tight, but the screened in porch was a dream. Lots of stairs and the driveway is a bit steep. After reading others reviews I can say that the issues that were raised have been rectified; easy seamless check in/out (code sent via email), pool fob was waiting at the house, and a welcome binder with suggested restaurants and activities was provided. I love that they listened to the former renters and made these updates. My only suggestion would be to have some games or cards. The listing says it’s a great family house, but nothing family friendly was provided. The neighborhood was quiet, seems it’s a mix of rentals and residents. Overall it was a great week. ##### Tara F. It is conveniently located near the pool and a very short walk to the beach access. The house was clean and had pretty much everything we needed in the kitchen to cook, etc. The main living area of the house with the living room and kitchen is a little smaller than the pictures appear, however, it wasn't a huge problem for us. If you are planning on someone using the sleeper sofa in the living room it would be a little inconvenient. The wood on the back porch and front steps is older so you will need to wear shoes to avoid splinters. Also, if you have issues with steps you may want to avoid this one because using the steps is the only way into the house. ##### Brandee R. It was a close walk to the beach and the pool was great to take a dip in. We loved all the outdoor areas to hang out: front porch, back screened porch and back deck. The grill was brand new and the house was well stocked (although you should plan to bring a few extra bath towels). The house was clean met our overall needs. The house could use some updating (countertops, living room furniture, and new mattress/ bedding) but it was not enough of an issue for us to reduce any stars. We loved the Vay K bike rentals offered, and the beach cart was perfect to lug gear to and from. Keep an eye on the fridge, we're not sure it held proper temp and took a while to cool after we restocked from a grocery run. All in all, it was a great place for our family to vacation. We would probably look for something a little larger next time, but our family is growing (more kids on the way), and would recommend this place to others. Thanks for a great week! ##### Mike P. A regular maintenance man came immediately to fix it. Ppl at Carrol reality were rude. The property was not very clean in general. Had no broom to clean the sand on the floor. Mattesses need changed. Peaceful neighborhood. Excellent bike trails and love the rental company...rented bikes and beach cart. Only suggestion is to eventually replace mattresses. We have a couple of rental properties and it would make a big difference. This was last minute trip because out Destin condo was cancelled due to maintenance.
