Rendezvous with family, friends, or the fishing brigade at the Rendezvous Retreat! Nestled in a batch of aspens trees in Island Park, this cozy log cabin sits in a private secluded neighborhood with stunning views of the vast surrounding mountains. Unlike most cabins in Island Park, this cabin is about as close as you can get to the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park which is only 18 miles from the cabin drive. If visiting Yellowstone isn’t the only item on your itinerary, why not go fishing? Henrys Lake, known for its giant Cutbow trout, is a short ten-minute drive and the Henrys Fork Outlet is even closer. Hiking, biking, and ATV trailheads are just around the corner with access to miles upon miles of solitary tree lined paths that carve through the scenic treasures that the area has to offer. Take a float down the mellow Big Springs River, a mere fifteen-minute to the boat launch. Renting gear won’t be an issue as the closest rental shop is also, just up the road and should have everything that you might need to fulfill your adventure. Besides the ideal location of this dwelling, the charm of the cabin itself should be enough to suit your expectations. The property had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. It was great to have breakfast before heading to the park for the day and to have a few dinners in. We were a family of five, me, my husband, 2 adults sons and one of their significant others. So nice to have 3 bathrooms. The property was about a 15-20 minute drive to West Yellowstone and the west entrance of YNP. We were happy to stay away from the crowds in West Yellowstone. One suggestion is to explain more about the cattle. We were very careful with the gates but woke up to find cattle on our side of the fence. It’s super close to Robin’s roost which is very convenient. The house was clean and spacious and there is a big yard for the kids to play in. The only drawback is all the gates you have to open and close to get to the house. Not such a big deal as long as you got some one else with ya. We can’t wait to come back. ##### Julie M.
