With 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a game room with extra sleeping space, your family will have plenty of room to spread out. Bring your boat and park it on your own private boat dock. Kayaks and paddleboards are provided to add to your outdoor fun. There is a community boat launch nearby the cabin. At night enjoy the large firepit were you can make S'more memories. Garbage pick up is provided. This beautiful three-level waterfront cabin that sits on Island Park Reservoir is perfect for the large family getaway. Located 35 minutes to the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The main level has an open concept kitchen, living and dining area, master bedroom with an en suite bathroom, another full bathroom, and a mudroom with a washer and dryer. The upper level has 2 bedrooms and a loft that has a 75" TV, plenty of seating and a full bathroom. There is a large balcony off the loft. This is a great place to start your day with a great view of the water. One of the bedrooms has a fun loft area that is perfect for children. It includes two toddler sized beds and an area to play games. The lower level has 2 bedrooms and a full bath and a large entertainment room. The entertainment room has a foosball table, a table to play games on, three bean bags for seating, three hide-a-bed ottomans for extra sleeping space, a 65" Smart TV for streaming television and movies (YouTube Provided) a gaming system, and DVD player. The inside is cooled by central Air Conditioning. Outside there is a large private boat dock, a fire pit and 5 picnic tables. There are 5 kayaks, 1 Paddle board, 1 petal boat, and life jackets provided for guest use. Additionally there are 5 bicycles of all sizes to ride around the cabin and neighborhood. This is the perfect place if you have a boat. You will have your own private dock at the cabin with a community boat launch in the neighborhood. No boat, no problem, local businesses nearby on the water rent boats, and other water crafts. After a full day of playing you can enjoy a fire and make S'mores over the large fire pit. Island Park has over 500 miles of ATV recreational trails that you can access right from the cabin. Local companies rent ATV's and UTV's. Please visit our guidebook for our recommendations. Most cabins in Island Park have guests bring their trash to the local landfill, however, trash pick up is provided with this cabin. Guest can access the entire cabin, garage, property and waterfront, including docks. We live full in Island Park so we are available anytime. Limelight Lodge is surrounded by area attractions like, Big Springs ( the start of the snake river), Mesa Falls, and the famous Yellowstone National Park. Outdoor activities include, Henry's Lake for fishing and Island Park Reservoir for boating, jet skiing, and fishing. Floating the North Fork of the Snake River on rafts, paddle boards and kayaks. Hiking at Harriman State Park, Horseback riding, Atv, Utv and dirt biking. The area has hundreds of miles for exploring. We can help get you in touch local rental agencies and Tom is a licensed guide in Island Park. The cabin is in a subdivision with strict speed limits and quiet time of 10pm-6am. People in the neighborhood enjoy their space and quiet so please respect any posted rules. Bikes for everyone to enjoy, kayaks, paddleboard, peddle boats and the dock was amazing! We enjoyed fires every night in the awesome fire pit, and going on walks/rides on the trails right by the cabin! The cabin was so accommodating and the set up was perfect! It’s very family oriented and provided plenty of space for a large group. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit nightly and enjoyed being on the water during the day. Because of it’s location there wasn’t much water traffic to contend with. Patty and Tom were very informative and responded quickly to our messages. The property and all that was stated was correct. Even though it rained most of the 4 days we were there we all had fun. The garage saved the day by giving additional space for kids to visit and play games. I would mention that there was plenty of parking as we had to travel at different times. We had 26 in our party. Our family enjoyed the time on the river. The oudoor equipment--paddle boat, canoes, lifejackets and bikes accommodated our large group. There were toys for young children and games for older kids as well. The only downside was that there was no airconditioning and we had to drive a long way to purchase propane for the grill. The dock and provided watercraft were a favorite. We rented a boat and jet ski and really enjoyed the water sports. Inside we appreciated the foosball table, bean bags, foldout twin bed benches, plenty of blankets, air mattresses and towels. This is a great house on the lake. They have a great dock, we had two large boats and it was nice. House itself is very roomy and well stocked. The fire pit was awesome. Only thoughts I would have for the owners is there is great need for a second refrigerator and freezer for ice. We kept most of our food in coolers as there is only one fridge. The only other thought would be to move one of the waverunner docks up to the front for those that have two boats. this would be much easier and really not affect the waverunners.
