Welcome to Castillito del Caribe — Isla Mujeres’ premier oceanfront villa in the heart of El Centro.
This Level 2 offering features two mirrored, private 1-bedroom oceanfront suites, each with its own entrance, full kitchen, living/dining area, and stunning Caribbean Sea views. Together, the suites comfortably sleep up to 6 guests, making this layout ideal for two couples, friends traveling together, or multigenerational adults who value both togetherness and privacy.
Each suite includes a king bed (one can be configured as two twin beds) plus a futon, allowing flexible sleeping arrangements. While both suites share the same level, they are not internally connected, which is why this layout is best suited for adults or older children, rather than families with small children.

First of all, the view was simply amazing! We sat out on the balcony as much as we could, and we loved hearing the waves crash all day and all night. I will say that there were some barking dogs that kept us up a little at night, but that's not the fault of the property. This place is right mixed in with many local homes and businesses. It was pretty cool to feel like we were right in the heart of the city. The walk to North Beach was a little longer (and a lot hotter) than we were expecting, but it was worth it! The walk from the ferry was super easy, so that was nice. We enjoyed the pool, but there were no occupants on the bottom floor when we were there. I know it's a "shared space", but I am not sure I would feel super comfortable in the pool if there were people staying there. The beds were comfortable, AC cooled the rooms nicely, everything was clean and safe. It was a little difficult to cook on the small gas stovetop, but there are so many great places to eat out close by that we just decided to give up on cooking at home! I do wish that we would have had a few extra towels. There were five of us and only four towels for four nights, but we made it work. They also had some other towels for the pool, so we used those off and on. Overall, amazing stay!
