This brand new, fully furnished home has amazing views, expansive decks, infinity pool, small private islands and a private lagoon to enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets from, or to just immerse yourself in long lazy days by the water. The top level of the home features 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, features a Great-Room adjoining the fully equipped gourmet kitchen - including upscale appliances. Our open concept Great Room has 25-foot high ceilings enhancing the experience of living on the Caribbean. There is high-speed internet with a robust Wi-Fi network throughout the house, large-screen TV, and stereo system, and even a washer & dryer. Key Lime Casa has panoramic views in all directions with it's generous windows, and has been designed to include the sounds of the surf and views of the sea from almost every room!It's oceanside location is prime to give you the best night sleep you will ever have! ​ Key Lime Casa is well appointed and tastefully furnished with comfort in mind and modern conveniences to facilitate your enjoyment. The kitchen is well equipped and appointed with brand new LG stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, range and oven, microwave and side by side door refrigerator) dishes and cutlery. Granite countertops are a delight throughout the home! Honduran hardwood craftsmanship is also found throughout the house – from the cabinetry to the bedframes, tables, doors and windows; all of the furnishings and appointments were hand made on the mainland and custom fit onsite. That's where quality and attention to detail really show\~ The house also features a privacy wall surrounding the compound with an outdoor shower and dive gear washing station so that you can conveniently freshen-up after shore diving, swimming, fishing or snorkeling; it is all available to you right off beach! ​ Unlike most oceanfront homes in Utila, this house has its own petite islands where you can relax in privacy. You can see, and even feed, the smaller fish that come in from the ocean for the protection of the lagoon. Just don't feed them bacon... save that for yourself! Key Lime Casa features incredible views across the Caribbean. The Pico Bonito mountains on the North Coast of Honduras are visible on a clear day, and our neighboring island, Roatan, just to the east, sits like an emerald on the horizon. Just plop yourself in a chair, put your feet up with a coffee or a cocktail, and watch the show; it's free! We wanted for nothing. Ocean/mountain vistas from deck/pool were mesmerizing. The tidal pool was our private aquarium and fun to watch as the various inhabitants came and went. Walk/swim to the reef where dive boats flock beyond the break daily. The Point and Bando Beach are a stone's throw for an easy meal or drinks. A short walk or tuk-tuk ride brings you to town which is lined with dive shops, restaurants, bars and an often a bustling street. We never encountered an unhelpful or unfriendly local or ex-pat. Nice people. We were searching for a laid-back, friendly, value destination that offered fun activities. We've found it in Utila and will always look to stay at Key Lime. This home could not be in a better location-a quick bike ride to all of the restaurants, grocery stores and dive shops while being in a quiet neighborhood. The view is simply stunning and the snorkeling right behind the house is top notch. The home is stocked with anything you could possibly need for a great vacation and was spotlessly clean. The pool was an added bonus! If we could suggest anything at all it would be to add cushioned mattress toppers to the beds. The mattresses are comfortable but just a bit firm for our aches and pains. This would not keep us from staying at Key Lime Casa on our next trip though! Tony and Jo were wonderful hosts. From assisting with transporting our luggage to arranging for our return Covid tests, they were always responsive, friendly and helpful. There was nobody staying below us in the two bedroom apartment and that really added to the privacy. We would love to come back with our college-age kids and rent the entire place! The lower level apartment would be perfect for our young adults-completely separate area with kitchen to keep their noise at bay! 😆 ##### Denise N.
