"The room was spotless. Warm water showers!!! Reception desk staff, Carlos, was very friendly and helpful. Explained and helped with booking excursion and getting around the village. The restaurant accross the street had good breakfast and dinner and the bakery, also just accross the street, sold tasty baked goods. Highly recommend this hotel."

The hot water issue and the breakfast which wasn t great.. it should be the management / owners responsible to actually fix the proble and not just collect the money. "Yellow Heron house is beautiful and functional. We were a two-family group of seven, it was perfect and we were all very comfortable. We had breakfast together at the very well designed and artful dining table every morning, that was such a great way to start each day. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. Beds were comfortable and the living room was a welcoming gathering place. Elena is thoughtful, communicative and anticipated our needs. All of us heartily recommend YHH for an extended stay. I chuckled at a prior review, calling out the “road” between the house and the beach—it’s really just a single-lane sand driveway, with maybe one or two cars an hour, not at all a barrier."
