There aren't enough positive words to describe Kelly the owner. It is so rare to find a true hostess these days, but Kelly invites you with her warm personality and she genuinely lets you know you are more than just a booking to her. It rained during our visit so I found myself baking, Kelly even lent a Pyrex dish to make a fresh peach cobbler. I needed this trip deeply, as I heal from loosing my mother and my husband an I were celebrating our 24th anniversary. Sit yourself on the front porch, look at the slow rolling fog at daybreak, feel your tensions melt away. Cuddle up with a blanket or a book and listen, you will hear such amazing bird songs at twilight. There's a small grocery store in town but if you want a bigger selection, I'd recommend going to the Kroger in Richmond.
