We were staying due to a wedding but couldn’t get checked in before the wedding started so had to change in a toilet. Also no hot water in the morning for a shower a bit disappointing for the price tag

We were very fortunate as we were told on arrival that we had a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was the gorgeous Room 1. The hotel is lovely, the food is very good and the staff are very courteous. The location was also a good base for visiting lots of different places in the area. The only thing I didn’t like (small gripe) was the music they piped into the communal areas - awful covers and a wee bit too loud. I really hope we stay at this hotel again. I was sad to leave the comfort of Room 1.

We enjoyed a very nice stay in a lovely room good food and very pleasant staff the only thing I was worried about was the shower floor it was very slippery perhaps they could Offer a non slippery mat Thankyou

Another wonderful stay at Meldrum house. Such a relaxing place to stay a home from home. Excellent food and drinks wonderful staff . We always look forward to our visit to Meldrum house.

Lovely stay as always - 5 stars
Had another lovely stay at Meldrum House this weekend. Accessible Room 403 - absolutely perfect for guests with disabilities. My only feedback would be that when the hotel is busy (less considerate) guests fill up disabled parking spaces so access was challenging with a wheelchair. Reception staff were lovely about it and tried to remedy.

Beautiful hotel, ground and room. Hotel - truly amazing, thoroughly recommend. Room? Has everything you need - TV, Hairdryer, robes, water, fresh milk and nice tea. Showers and the accompanying shampoo, hand and body wash all smell amazing!! The room itself also has a sofa with table plus 2 small chairs/table by the window. Very spacious. Wasn't a fan of the in-room shortbread, reckon there are better brands out there - perhaps Walkers or Reids of Caithness. The 'Steven Brown' shortbread is a bit stale/all funky packaging but inferior product. I ordered in-room service as I had skipped lunch that day, lovely. Can't fault it at all! Bar is really small but is lovely and has a good range to choose from, great for a few drinks before bed. Breakfast was also great! Loved my stay, will definitely return again

The older rooms are not that great and very outdated. I would recommend staying in their newer building/rooms.
