A fantastic location for visiting The Highlands and The Cairngorm National Park. The cottage is Family, wheelchair and dog friendly Holiday Cottage to make your stay relaxing and fun. 3 good sized bedrooms all with built in wardrobes 3 Spacious Bathrooms including a walk in wet room. The house has full oil central heating. Well Behaved dogs are permitted (please enquire) bedding, bowls, towels and a first aid kit are provided please read the rules for dogs. Highchair and travel cot are available safety gates are standard. Ground floor Cosy spacious lounge with wood burning stove and dining for 6 in the bay window with stunning views and wildlife. There are patio doors out to the garden. The Ground floor also has a Spacious bedroom which can be either a twin or super king size bed, Built in wardrobes with storage, Hairdryer Good sized shower room with heated towel rail, WC and sink Kitchen with microwave, single oven, hob, fridge freezer with table and seating for 6 with well stocked cupboards and essentials such as dishwashing tablets, washing liquid, condiments etc. Spacious Utility room with clothes pulley, Washing machine and tumble dryer. Also a walk in wet room/drying room. Washing liquid is supplied Free WIFI Large TV with miracast A games cupboard with family games, books and toys for children. Upper Floor 2 Spacious bedrooms with twin beds again either superking beds or twin beds. Built in wardrobes, plenty of storage and Hairdryer Main Bathroom with large bath and over bath shower heated towel rail. Safety gate if required. Large secure garden Covered gazebo to the rear of the house with seating for 6\. This is a cosy suntrap in the summer and perfect for having breakfast or an evening BBQ Dining area to the front of the house with seating for 6\. This has stunning sunny views North to the historic Daviot Church and South through the valley, fields and hills. Perfect and relaxing for watching the sun set over the hill with deer in the fields and Buzzards and Red Kites soaring above also a wood burning chimera. Fenced garden lowest point being 1.4m Driveway gates. Driveway with ample parking The Cairngorm National Park is 15 minutes away with skiing, walking and watersports. Inverness airport is only 12 miles, Inverness is 10 minutes where you will find the main rail links, a car is essential, Loch Ness is 12 miles. Excellent for Skiing, golfing, fishing, walking, cycling, photography, beaches, Historic place, woodlands, horse riding, Archery, quads etc...lots to do, lots to see in every season. Available for Families, Groups or couples. Rules for dogs....Up to 2 dogs allowed please enquire for details Dogs must not be left in the cottage on their own, I have dog crates available. We stayed October 12th - 15th, 2025 in this large property. Everything about the house is exceptional. Susan, the host, goes above and beyond to make everything perfect for her guests to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. She thinks of every detail. This is the most beautiful and well done house we have every stayed in on vacation. Susan is so friendly and very accessible should you have any questions. The house is spotless and every amenity you would need is provided. We were just amazed at this beautiful house and all the little details that make it so special. Beautiful bathrooms and the beds are so comfortable! We all slept very well. You cannot go wrong staying at this house. It was a perfect place for our family to relax, have fun and cook delicious meals after each day of sightseeing. ##### Linda C. We arrived before Storm Amy and lost power before bedtime. Our host Susan made sure to check on us and make sure we were fine. There was still no power early afternoon the next day and when we made the decision to move accommodations Susan made sure to talk to VRBO and make sure we got two of our three night reservation refunded. Lastly we were using the washer when the power went out and she helped us figure out how to get the washer opened/unlocked and our clothes returned before we left! The kitchen was great it had everything we needed to cook meals when we eat in. Nice and clean and very beautiful decor. Outside area was very nice as well. It’s charming and cozy and the perfect home base for adventures in the highlands. One member of our group fell at a restaurant and spent the rest of our stay in a wheelchair. The house is very accessible and Susan was incredibly accommodating and responsive. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! ##### Paula P. Our stay at the "Old Police House" was fantastic! The home was very comfortable and the kitchen was wonderful to cook meals in. The location was also great - nice and quiet, but close to so many things for sightseeing around Inverness. Communication and coordination leading up to the rental was also very smooth and easy. We didn't want to leave and definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable home base from which to explore the area. ##### Mairgareth C. Susan, our host, has given a lot of thought about comfort for her guests. She is amazing, and helped us after we were in a car accident. The home is tastefully appointed and in a serene location near Inverness. I would highly recommend staying here. The house was beautifully quaint with plenty of character, yet offered all the modern comforts we needed. There was tons of space for our group to spread out, and having multiple bathrooms was a total game-changer—no waiting around in the mornings! Everything was clean, cozy, and well-stocked, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like a true getaway. Such a great location too! So close to Inverness, the airport, and quick access to lots of great sites.Highly recommend for families or groups looking for a relaxing and spacious stay in Scotland! ##### Estella F. The beds are very comfortable and the house is so cosy. Susan is a fantastic host and was so helpful. She provided a dog crate which we were incredibly grateful for as it saved a lot of space in the car. The location is great as it’s incredibly peaceful with lovely views but a large Tesco (along with lots of restaurants and bowling etc) are less than 15 minutes away. It was clean, and very comfortable. Showers were powerful, beds were very comfortable. Susan was so helpful salting the driveway as it had snowed over night- very magical.
