I stayed at the Avanti Resort hotel for 4 nights during a resent convention stay in Orlando. It was adequate for my needs since I didn't spend much time in the room. The location was perfect for me since it's 1 mile from the Orlando Convention Center. My room was pretty basic. The wood floors were a bit of a concern when I arrived, but the noise level above me wasn't terrible. I did hear people walking though. My bed was very comfortable. I didn't use the pool area, but it looked very nice. I recommend this hotel if you're looking for a "value" facility close to the convention center.
The hotel is located in a convenient area if visiting Sea World or Universal. Plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance though you will need transportation to the parks. Though not sure I think the building was designed as a condo and/or time share though that did not distract whatsoever from my stay. The reception was quick and easy and if you sign up as a Sonesta "member" (free) they will waive the resort fee. Though traveling solo I had a two bedroom room which had a kitchen living room and two baths. Also three flatscreen televisions. Very comfortable, clean and modern. A hot breakfast is included with good variety to choose from. I will definitely return.
This hotel has good wifi service , the staff members are very polite , & the rooms are very clean . The experience here was by far the best I've came across ! I recommend it to others to choose this over any other .
This place is good when I fly to Orlando and get a rental car. I drive here for the first night or the last night when I want to chill. Walmart across the street, lots of food options nearby, and a cable TV works for me on those nights. Rooms are always very clean and nice, and is a good value overall.
International Drive's largest claim to fame is the Universal Orlando Resort, home to two theme parks — Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios; the water park, Wet 'n Wild; and the entertainment area, CityWalk. The I-Ride trolley (really a bus) stops frequently along the street. At the north end of International Drive are two shopping meccas: Prime Outlets-Orlando and The Mall at Millenia.
