Location, location, location. This hotel is within walking distance of Universal and right on International Drive that offers tons of options to eat and entertainment. It was the cheapest hotel available in the area, which could have been a disaster, but it's fair.. It has a swimming pool, great location, room are good size, so not much to complain. Not a luxury hotel, but convenient.
Good stay for the low maintenance folks on a budget. I'm not sure how often they change their sheets tho. Pulled them down & found some stray hairs. So that wasn't too pleasant to see upon arriving. Rooms only have a swamp cooler so it stays very very humid in the room & noisey while you try to sleep. Staff was okay. Guest services lady was by far the best & most helpful! She speaks fluent Portuguese English & Spanish. I was charged more than expedia had promised which sucked especially since front desk didn't tell me the amount they were charging me upon check in.
I know I sound picky but just figured this would be helpful. overall for 7 nights here it wasn't too bad. The bathrooms were spotless which was what mattered to me the most. Lots of families stay here so it felt safe overall.
In all honesty I would probably look elsewhere in the future.
Great hotel stay. My kids loved the water splash area and the pool while I sat under a cabana and had drinks from the splash bar. The room was clean and everything was nice and fresh. My family enjoyed our stay. Wonderful staff.
Stayed in older section of the hotel which was disappointing. Appeared to have nicer rooms in a renovated area on the other side. Hotel was in a good area for walking with lots of places to eat and entertainment for the family in close proximity. Overall, not a bad stay for the money. But would have paid more for a nicer room.
it served the purpose. The room was cleaned, it had a safe box, coffe machine with a couple packets fo prepare coffe, nicely arranged.
i like rcan enjoy cable tv with HBO. You also have a small fridge. The two things i didn't like was the heavy cigarette stench and the view from my room wasn't too nice.
International Drive's largest claim to fame is the Universal Orlando Resort, home to two theme parks — Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios; the water park, Wet 'n Wild; and the entertainment area, CityWalk. The I-Ride trolley (really a bus) stops frequently along the street. At the north end of International Drive are two shopping meccas: Prime Outlets-Orlando and The Mall at Millenia.
