"The location was great right in front of the park where the paragliders land and with a view of the snow capped mountains. Fifteen minutes walk from both interlaken east and west stations. Halal food places nearby. Inside the hotel looked nice and clean though the rooms were very basic. The front of the building however looked awful...really run down and I was shocked when I saw it. The photos on the listing only show the building at night in the dark with lights on so you can't really tell. It's a shame because it really lets the hotel down. Also the breakfast buffet had very limited options considering it wasn't a cheap hotel. I was quite disappointed because I had expected more."

"Convenience to the train station was paramount. Made our sight seeing easy and painless. Room view was very nice. Bed comfortable, but pillows were no great, bed cover was either too hot or cold and didn't stay on the bed well."

"We stayed here for two nights. There was only one desk clerk that was friendly and helpful, the others we encountered were almost rude. We felt that the breakfast was not that great. One can order eggs by filling out a form near the kitchen door, and the chef comes out and verifies what you want exactly. (Which I did). We waited about twenty minutes and the buffet was getting ready to close. When I asked the "chef" where my eggs were, he said he didn't have a paper order from me, and I said I did and you and I reviewed it together. He said he didn't have it, and turned around and left. There is an extra charge for this, so at least we didn't get charged. The room was fine."

"Location was perfect - close to shops and grocery stores (to help cut the cost of very expensive dining out in Switzerland). Short walk to Interlaken West train station. Easy bus access. Breakfast was included and was VERY good - lots of variety and delicious! Beds/pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is older, and room was pretty basic - no bedside lamps (NOT a game changer), and no A/C, which we discovered is common in Switzerland. Temperatures were warm (high twenty's) during our stay, but we were given 2 floor fans which really helped to keep things comfortable. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend."

"We had a bad experience at a nearby hotel and changed for our last couple of days here. The contrast couldnt have been more obvious. The Bellevue excellent in every way as a four star hotel. Location by the river with a lovely terrace at the back; especially the staff; and the great rooms with balconies. Big thanks especially to Jurg and Jenny who were always so helpful. highly recommended for a few days in interlaken."

"You’re getting an EPIC location and view (depending on the room) at a fraction of the cost of the near 5-stars. So don’t pick this one expecting luxury. It is a rather tired-looking hotel, but the rooms/linens were clean and freshly updated regularly. You can literally walk out the back door onto the main Central Park where you’ll see paragliders sailing overhead all day. You’re just steps away from the river walk as well. This is the ideal location for anyone running the Jungfrau Marathon because you’re right at the start - skip the PortaPotty line and go back to your room!"
