The town of Inlet, NY is a 0.5 mile walk, on a paved sidewalk from our property. Winter in Upstate New York offers diverse outdoor activities, especially in the Adirondack towns of Old Forge, Inlet, and Eagle Bay. The heating system is undersized for the home and was cold downstairs. It took almost a day and half to warm up the upstairs (68 degrees) and the downstairs remained cold (61 degrees for the 3 day trip). The downstairs never got any warmer. The temperature outside was in the 20's at night and 30's during the day so it wasn't that cold outside. Similar complaints from other tenants renting in the area as well. ##### Michael W. Close to the water and driving distance to Inlet and Old Forge. It was very quiet and allowed for some much needed rest and relaxation. Only downfall, no towels and no dishwasher detergent.
