This was our first stay in Satelite after many stays in the downtown area. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel & would recommend it without reservation. Coffee available in the lobby each morning & the buffet breakfast is fantastic. Location was perfect for us.
Excellent hotel for this area of Mexico City!! My room was perfect and comfortable. Nice helpful staff. Delicious buffet breakfast included in the price. I liked the fact that the hotel is located in a shopping mall, with my favorite Sanborn's Restaurant, Starbucks, other restaurants, shops and a cinema. Taxi service was helpful. My only complaint, slow internet!!

Be careful of the glass front panel doors. I walked into the swinging one, thinking it was open! Décor is European "spare". No carpets in rooms, but probably cleaner that way. Noisy, especially on lower floors. I moved from 3rd to 7th because trucks woke me up at 5 am. The hotel is not built with rooms on the back. Rooms are large. Have safe in closet. Desk, easy chair. Enjoy the guavas and papaya for breakfast. Also a fantastic hot breakfast dish from Oxaca, thin sliced pork in a green sauce that is made of ground pepitas (pumpkin seeds). with mild spices. I thought it might be avocado. I liked Holiday Inn, Toreo-Satelite Naucalpan better. Haven't tried it since it changed to "La Mision, Centro de Conferencias."
In the northern part of Mexico City, the Industrial Area includes the municipalities of Naucalpan de Juarez and the city of Tlalnepantla de Baz. Heavily industrialized, the area also contains many retail businesses and several large, open-air markets. In pre-Columbian times, Naucalpan was knows as the kingdom of Tacuba. Today, it is the hometown of the famous Mexican rock band Café Tacuba.
