Good apartment with cheap parking and kitchenette
The hotel is comfortable but located in a sketchy area. It’s convenient for three reasons, available parking for a fee, a shopping mall across the street with a small supermarket and a tram that takes you to the city center across the street on the main avenue.

Almost perfect.
Location is perfect. Across the street is a mall and train station. You cannot hear noise even if there is a train coming by. They have a garage where you can park your car safely. The only thing is that the rooms dont have AC but its okay since its not warm at nighttime. And the diswasher needs rinse and salt.

Good location for a stopover
Very good location if you have a car. Tons of street parking outside (parallel parking) or they have a small lot for 5 euro a night. Right across the street from the tram, so it's easy to get into the city. Next to a large mall with a lot of dining options. The room itself is very basic, but comfortable.

It was amazing. Hotel is just beside the tram station and shopping complex where restaurants are abundant. You can even cook since aLl utensils are provided in the hotel room. The room itself is very spacious abd clean.

Excellent. Friendly and obliging service staff. Shower was hot and water plentiful. Kitchenette well equipped. Limited tea or coffee in room but extra available from reception. Across the road from shops & eateries. Tram stops outside. Paid parking unless you can find a spot on the street.

Our first Appart Hotel experience
This was our first experience of an Appart Hotel, and it will not be the last, the reception staff were most polite, as we were travelling with a small dog, they allocated us a room close to the entrance which was perfect. The room had everything we needed, my only comment would be that the microwave was rather complicated so an information sheet would have helped. One thing to be aware of that this hotel is in a residential area so parking is difficult so book one of the hotel spaces.

Staff very polite and helpful. No A/C so room was very hot. No table and chairs for dining. Eating your meal whilst sitting on the beds meant that some of our food ended up on the bed! No toilet roll and toilet roll holder was broken. Laundry facility was fine but expensive. The appartment itself was clean and tidy. The beds weren't very comfy. Our room didn't have a balcony, which was a shame, as we had been looking forward to sitting outside on a balcony of an evening with a glass of wine!

Well situated spacious and clean
We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious. The furnishing is a bit minimalist and we could have dome with another sofa, but what there was was comfortable. It was nice to have a balcony which we used but would be more useful in the hotter weather. There were two well-equipped bathrooms and a reasonable kitchen unit. Breakfast was well supplied. There is a coin-operated laundry which worked well.

A superb location but the little things let down
superb location right on tram line. Hotel quiet and clean except for the toilet. bedding and towels spotless. Reception staff very good. Kitchenette was an added bonus had we needed it and it was neatly hidden away. access to parking amd wifi at extra charge. However, the stained toilet, no handles on mugs, climate control unit that didn't work at all and no smoke alarm in room let it down. A shame!

Ok for a 1 night stopover, next to a small shopping mall with a few restaurants, ok if you want to shop but not much else to see plus nothing for kids! no outside area to sit and no aircon. Personally I prefer novotels!

twin bed studio - just adequate for 2 nights but too small for a longer stay, minimum size beds, 1 seat with 2 more on balcony which had to be cleaned to use, very little space for self catering, no free Wifi, if you take a car would recommend paying for parking. I think prices have increased a lot in the last 2 years compared to previous stay in Mérignac, Aquitaine.

Stayed one night only, on route to Caen.The weather was hot with temperatures around 37 degrees. There was only one set of towels and our room was very hot, I took the oppertunity to ask the recepionist for another set. You would have thought I had asked for the moon, she doubted my word and reluctently gave me another.I enquired about the heat in the hotel and was told that there was no airconditioning in the hotel, when I asked if I could have a fan, there was one in full view standing on the floor of the office idle,I realized that now I had indeed asked for the moon and was given a sharpe Non! This girl should be sent back to charm school tout de suite. We had to leave the window of our room wide open all night which didn't much. I was glad when morning came and we could get on our way, never to return.

For self-catering it had a reasonably well equipped kitchen. Get an early morning shower before the hot water runs out, there won't be any at night! (our only gripe) Bus into the city 400 metres away, small deli and bakery very close. Quiet and comfortable.

Location was good, close by tram station, opposite a modern shopping mall. Our stay was on Friday and there is an open air concert nearby that played loud music throughout the night. Website said Free Wifi, but counter staff rudely insisted that they have changed the policy since end of last year and said it is not free now, if it is not the unfriendly attitude, would give 1 more star for service

Loved it, but it might not be to your taste.
I loved this hotel, but you might not. The thing is that it has unusually designed rooms which, at first glance, seem spartan. The two beds are very low. Night tables are plastic, as well as chairs. I liked the overall design, but again, I caution you. If you want regular furniture, this is not for you. WHAT I LOVED: Kitchen cabinet with everything you need (stovetop, very cold frig, sink, dishes, etc.). Large bathroom. Great lighting (the brightest room I've ever been in). Comfortable ledge desk. Big closets. And a perfect location that is clean, easily accessible, and across from a food court (go to the crepe restaurant). Oh and you get parking and a very fast Internet for a nominal extra fee. Pay it! We did not need an air conditioner, however, we were there in May. It might be a problem in summer and late fall. The window, however, swung open very wide. And it had a great room darkening exterior shade, which meant that we could keep our window open without it being blocked by curtains. But I did not like the hallway. It is strange that the hotel chain paid so much attention to room design and left the hallway dismal. And bring your own hand soap. There is a container of soap in the shower, but not on the bathroom sink.

Resident Suite Not Up to Standard
Reception is not helpful. We booked 2 bedroom for two families with 6 people. We asked for one more room key and was refused. I have to open the door and moved all the baggage to the room before I can use the room key to enter the parking lot. I asked the reception to borrow the hairdryer. I waited for the whole night and get nothing. The housekeeping took away our own towel. The dishwasher failed and without the washing agent. The linen is far and the towel color turning to grey. Wifi needs additional charges.

Real nice room layout, lots of space with great shelves, clean and good water pressure. Heater was just a modern wall elec radiator with no fan, so that took awhile to warm the room. Room design was spartan, Ikea-like, and floor was an odd dark linoleum that almost seemed like concrete- not a comforting feel nor warm in the winter. Parking and service excellent. A bit far out from town center on south edge of town. Nice italian chain restaurant and big mall right across street.

Pleasing hotel with breakfast options
We (two adults and two teens) stayed for two nights at this apartment hotel in a two BR kitchenette unit with two bathrooms. Good facilities (IKEA type furniture) and clean. Good bedding and adequate linen. Toiletries were available only in one bathroom. No spare toilet paper, and no detergent in the kitchen sink. These are minor inconveniences but for short-term stayers should be included. Parking was fine and reasonable, but poorly designed parking access where the driver has to get off the car and walk to the passenger side to insert the parking ticket! Two breakfast options (take away to room cheaper and buffet)- both fine. No English TV channels (not even BBC). Overall a pleasing stay and we will stay again.

Nice apartment hotel, part of a larger French chain. On the outskirts of town, in a new-development area, with a shopping complex (l'heure tranquille, with supermarket) across the road. The light-rail (opened September 2013) is steps away and takes your straight into town.

It is a new hotel and well done. It is not a typical French experience, it is more modern than that. It is perfect if you are passing through and need a place to sleep, or if you have a conference or other event nearby, then it would also be perfect.

My family (two adults and a 14 year old) stayed here for two nights. The rooms in our suite were huge! The room had a master bedroom, small foyer, massive bathroom and a kitchen/living area with a pull out coach. The kitchen was well laid out and fully equipped. There is a food store in the shopping complex across the street from the hotel. There are lots of walking/cycling paths along the river with 200 m of the hotel. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Be aware that the hotel is not in the central core of the city. We know this upon booking so this was not a problem with us. The city core is short 5 km drive, train, cycle ride away.

Good overnight stay
Stayed at this hotel as an overnight stop off before continuing onto our holiday destination. Parked at the end of the road on public parking areas which was okay, just a couple minutes walk from the hotel entrance. Room was fine; the bed was a little hard however. It had a nice kitchenette which we didn't use but looked smart. Good continental breakfast. Can't say much about the area as we arrived late and left early. All in all, it was fine and I would stay again.
