Had an absolute nightmare of an experience here! I planned ahead MONTHS ago and booked this hotel for the 2024 eclipse. Apparently management had changed since I made my reservation and they would not honor it. I had the confirmation and even a reminder of my reservation from Expedia just two days before, but they didn’t care- they didn’t even say sorry, they deleted my reservation without contacting me and basically said “tough luck.” We drove 6hrs with our three children only to be stranded in the middle of the night with nowhere to stay. Ended up driving another ~30miles and paying an insane $400 for one night at another hotel. Shame on them and shame on Expedia. Horrible.

It showed signs of being an older hotel, but was nestled between two “nicer” hotels which gave peace of mind to my family. The employee was awesome and very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was good and had hot options. I would stay again. It was minutes from location of volleyball tourney.

This property is under renovation, so someone else may have a better experience than we did. Our room smelled of old smoke. Perhaps I should have asked for a different room, but given how dingy and chipped the walls and ceiling tiles were, I didn't have hope a room change would be much of an improvement. Our room had no closet, simply 3 hooks on the wall. The cabinets were new, as well as the bathroom cabinets. Beds were comfortable and linens were new and clean. 2 pillows per bed (double queen room), so we asked for more which were given to us readily, along with the extra towels requested as there were also only 2 towels in the bathroom. The floors are vinyl flooring. This is obviously an older hotel so soundproofing was not great and we could hear a lot of road noise. Staff was friendly, breakfast was limited. This was not the stay we were hoping for, after renovations, someone else may have a better experience.

The rooms weren’t thoroughly clean, the staff is rude, and the hotel has no elevator, which sucks when you have suitcases and small children. There was so much chlorine in the pool that the kids couldn’t enjoy the only reason that we checked in.

I was very disappointed in the quality of this hotel. It reminded me of one star hotel. The rooms were dirty. The beds were very uncomfortable and had a metal tin boxsprings. The breakfast was very few choices and cold. The milk and juice was dispensed from a gallon jug.

When we arrived someone else was talking to them about refund and checking out due to conditions. When we got to the room it was filthy. Hair and something sticky on the light switch, heater was gross, electric outlet had exposed wires, floor had several splotches that looked like diarrhea, toilet seat was dirty, I could go on. We went down to check out and someone else was doing the same. They talked us into trying another room. This one was acceptable, however, once we moved to this room we discovered the water did not work in both the sink and the shower. The sink had one lazer stream coming out that was strong enough to sting your skin, but not enough water to be useful. Shower, similar and the drain was not connected to anything, it was just a hole in the tub. Absolutely horrible. We have stayed at Baymont's before. I never expected a Baymont to be in this condition.

Mold and mildew was on the ceiling. Air conditioner had a very strong mildew and mold smell. Dog urine in the entrance hallway. Pool area was very dirty. Towels were not stocked. Requested for a blow dryer and never received it . Hallways needed vacuumed very bad. No cable for television. Very weak wifi . Old toilet tissue was left in the bathroom . Requested a clean room.upon checking in and still received a very bad room.

Pros: Indoor pool Parking is very close to the building - bed was comfortable Cons: - check in took forever. I was the only one there. - entire building smelled of weed and smoke - holes in the walls all over, including in the rooms - no batteries in the TV remote - outside side doors to the property we're always unlocked. - place was super loud. Cars racing all night. - bathroom sink shot out 1 tiny stream of water at about 5000 psi. Shocked it hasn't cut a hole through the sink - shower temperature was either a) molten lava or b) liquid nitrogen

Upon arrival at our stay there were homeless people around the building digging in the dumpsters. So that was a red flag, but we checked in anyways and the young man working the reception was very pleasant and kind. We went to our room on the first floor and when we entered our bed sheets had cigarette burns all over the sheets. We opened our curtain to see the outside and there was a drugged female standing by a door entrance barely able to stand. There was children sitting out in the middle of the hallway alone. We immediately asked to switch rooms. We then went up to the second floor, which wasn’t any better, And again just like our first room, Our door to our room had a slight gap which made me feel so unsafe The entrances don’t even need a keycard to enter you simply open the door and you can enter the building at any entrance. I’ve never been more paranoid or felt uneasy at a hotel. When we would leave our room we left nothing in there. We kept all our belongings in our vehicle and went outside if we needed something. Which was also unsafe due the surroundings of the hotel. The breakfast that’s included was very disappointing, it was only cereal or a bagel with milk or juice. Overall, I don’t recommend this hotel. Not worth the money at all, it’s shame that as a business they had very poor quality for their guests.

Was not worth the $150 a night. Doors did not open and close properly. Paint was peeling. People were extremely loud…children playing football outside our window until 1 am. Could hear children crying, loud TVs and people pacing above us. No carpet in room, carpet in halls dirty and housekeeping took our towel and didn’t replace them. Front desk told me get them my self!!! Horrible property. Do not offer this property as an option again. Zero stars.

This is a worse hotel we stay. The insulation was terrible so all the out side noise was heard. The noise inside the hotel lasted until 3 a.m. The first room they gave to me smelled too bad so we change to a smaller room/ The toilet was wobble and the breakfast was not a buffet style as advertised. We are not satisfied at all. Please do not stay this one.

Average hotel in an average area. It was relatively inexpensive, so the saying "you get what you pay for" is accurate. Staff was OK. 2 stars for breakfast. Only waffles on the hot side. Only white bread for toast. And they were out of orange.
