The property host was very quick to respond to all communications. Despite being downtown, we felt safe in the neighborhood. Street parking in front of the house was easy, and the street wasn’t busy. The one thing I recommend is bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, just due to the occasional train going through nearby.We were in town for a convention, and the proximity to the convention center was superb! The location is great. Most places are within 15 minutes. The house was nice. Beds were comfy. Linens were provided. We liked it pretty well. Only one problem, we had no A/C.We noticed on our first night that it was a little warm, but we arrived late and just turned the temp down, didn’t think much of it. Every other night we were there, the house was 78-80 degrees. I reached out multiple times to the owners. Nothing was ever done. They said someone was coming, no one ever came (that we are aware of). We were never contacted about the situation, I had to reach out every time for updates. I had 2 children with me who had a hard time sleeping due to the heat, and what should have been a nice extended weekend getaway was a little more of a hassle than it should have been. In addition to the messaging system, I also called the number and had no answer/response. I was promised a phone call today (June 1st) and also never received that. I was offered no reimbursement, or fans, or anything for that matter. I also have screenshots of the entire conversation with “home base”. We stayed here because it had multiple 10 star reviews. I understand that things happen, but there were 3 days to check on the issue and nothing ever happened. ##### Cody K.
