Good place for us and our favorite people

Quiet and convenient spot for our happenings in Brownsburg and Lizton for a long weekend with all of our closest friends! Although there were some issues with bugs and cleanliness of the property when we arrived, communication with the owner was quick and the problems were taken care of within the hour. The home shows some age, but great for hosting a large group!

Wedding weekend

Our daughter got married in linzton and we rented the cabin and her mom rented the cottage. It was amazing. Clean. Close to the event site. Cool animals. And a great pond.

Family getaway

The Cottage afforded my family party of ten the perfect space. Every individual couple/family had their own bedroom and bathroom space. The kitchen and dining area was excellent for preparing food and playing games all at the same time. Chuck and Marie, the owners, are responsive to all communication but we never have any problems and always enjoy our stay!

Family time & convenience

The house was beautiful (hard to imagine it not being someone's family home). Spacious for the kids to enjoy & the adults to spread out. Plenty of bathrooms, beds, tvs, etc. Little ones enjoyed the animals. Convenient to the venue (Ash & Oak) for a wedding. Owners were very accomodating to our schedule. Our only complaint was there were no sheets on master bed & we had to retrieve washclothes from dryer. We didn't bother owners about the sheets because it was late before we realized it & we made due with smaller size we found in a closet. We discovered the correct size still in washer on the day we left when starting the bedding we used. We also had to empty the dishwasher before loading with dishes we used. Just appeared someone started laundry & dishwasher but never returned to finish before we arrived. That could've been due to our schedule so still left 5 star rating.

Family Trip

Decided to find a location that would have lots of room for the kids to play. Plenty of room and parking. The petting zoo was also a hit with the kids. Close enough to activities, but not right in Indianapolis and in an nice area.

Life Group Weekend

The house was absolutely perfect for our size group. We had 4 separate couples (8 adults), 4 two year olds, and 3 infants 3M-10M old. The house provided us with the perfect amount of space to have our own bedrooms, bathrooms, and play space for the kids. In the evenings, once the kids went to bed, the adults were able to go down to the basement and play games without being worried about waking the kids up. We had an amazing time being able to hang out with our friends for the weekend. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils and the property was absolutely beautiful and perfect for all the kids to run around and get energy out. I caught 5 bluegill at the pond in a matter of 20-30min and the petting zoo was really fun for the kids.

Amazing!!

Absolutely fabulous stay. Huge, comfortable home in a beautiful setting! Stayed here with my two daughters (21 & 27) and my oldest’s sister in law for the Taylor Swift concert. Easy to pre book and Uber to the stadium. Great communication and this home just oozes comfort, family and love. The kitchen is fully stocked and the pantry had a number of things I usually need to buy (3 different kinds of syrup). Our shoulders were looser in this lovely place. We all want to return with a bigger group. Highly recommend!

Wedding weekend

We rented both homes for a wedding in the area. Bride's family in cottage Grooms in the cabin. It was wonderful! Huge thanks to Chuck and the gang at Nature Valley! The homes were clean, spacious and the grounds were wonderful! Made a special addition to the weekend of celebrating and family time!

Wedding weekend

Wedding weekend for our son and daughter in law. Family stayed in the Cottage and Grooms party in the Cabin. We were able to have the rehearsal dinner in the Outpost too. Everyone loved the property and spent time in the pond and the pavilion. Marie was so helpful and responsive to any questions I had.

Wonderful Family Reunion

The house and property was perfect for our three grown kids and spouses and 6 grandchildren. We enjoyed fishing in the pond, pony rides and lots of outdoor area for games and running around. The kitchen was well stocked, the air conditioning was great and the WiFi worked great. Communication with host was excellent. This was our second stay and we plan another trip here in 2026.

Great Property. Poor Management

The property was a good fit for our needs. We had 6 adults for most of the week & hosted our son’s fiancé & 4 bridesmaids the night before the wedding. The kitchen was perfect for getting ready with the 2 tables & plenty of natural light. The bedrooms were decent sizes. The only issue we had was the pull out couch wasn’t suitable for guests. Bathrooms were tricky with only one shower on main floor. Upstairs has a Jack-n-Jill with 1 shower & 1 commode then 2 separate sink areas for each bedroom. All of the showers had great water pressure & plenty of hot water. The only drawback logistically for us was there were a lot of stairs going up to the property. Given we were there for our son’s wedding we had a lot more to carry in & out than a normal vacation. Overall the house fit our needs very well. There was a lack of communication & missed appointments from the owners. We had travelled 3 1/2 hrs to meet with the owner to view the Outpost to rent for the rehearsal dinner. We showed up & she was not there & no one had any idea we were coming. We were sent to view the space alone & it was not clean. We never received a call after & had to find a new location w/just a couple of weeks before wedding. We arrived at 7pm & the house was not ready. There were many minor maintenance/up keep/cleanliness issues all week. We didn’t bother trying to even get ahold of the owners bc of the inability to reach them prior & upon arrival. I would rent house again if owners resolved these issues.

Country cottage with lake access

We had a fun time together as a family at this property. It was clean, comfortable and there was good communication with the owner . We enjoyed having access to the lake. Great memories were made here and our grandchildren liked the petting zoo too.

Great getaway close to town!

This property is beautiful! I stayed here with my fiancé and bridal party (both bridesmaids and groomsmen) for a weekend so the bridal party could get to know each other. This was the perfect place to do so! We were able to play games outside, go to the lake, fish, go horseback riding, pet the animals at the petting zoo, and also easily go to both Brownsburg and Indianapolis to go out to eat, go bowling, etc. The owners were very responsive and answered all our questions. I highly recommend this property and hope to come back!

Perfect Peaceful Family Getaway

Perfect location - not to far from Indianapolis, yet quiet and peaceful. Love the patio and the kids loved the animals. Having two tables in the kitchen area was so nice. There was seating for everyone in one space so you did not feel disconnected. Bedrooms are slightly set off from the gathering spaces which is really nice. Will definitely stay here again!
