"We had a relaxing girls trip at the cabin. The location of the home is close to river access, Steeleville shopping and Cuba. We enjoyed day trips to various places and trying out different restaurants known to the area. We loved being in nature and the quiet! Great place to relax and unwind. Cindy was very responsive to our messages. We definitely plan to visit again."

"This property was amazing! The creek is literally right outside the front door and it’s much more beautiful than the pictures. The cabin was well stocked and very clean. There are horses right behind the cabin that were an awesome plus. It was great to look out the windows and see the creek or horses. It was quiet and relaxing. The host was great with communication. Our family had a blast. We would 100% stay again!!"

"We enjoyed it thoroughly. Only suggestions would be to add grab bars in the shower and beside the full bath commode and remove rough concrete beside the drive/patio area. Our group was all older ladies and had to be very careful to avoid falling.Also, one of the ladies fell on the ramp from the laundry room up to the kitchen. We all agreed it would have been easier to have just had a simple step up instead of the ramp.But we will definitely recommend this home to others and would return again if a home in Salem is needed."
Cozy Steelville Retreat: River + Trail Access!

"Charming accommodations. Well-maintained. Well-stocked kitchen. Great access to the river. Great communications. Lots of cozy nooks for relaxing and reading. On a rainy day we put together 2 puzzles they offered amongst their cache of games. We had to get a tow truck when our Suburban wouldn't start when time to head out. The groundskeeper and housecleaning were very friendly and helpful. It was quite a wait and they allowed us to stay inside while they tried to get their work done. We plan on booking for next year."
