"The house was very clean and the check in process was easy. The owners of the house even reached out to us that we could check in early because of a winter storm getting ready to hit the area so we were able to get on the road earlier in the day. That right there should tell you alot about who you are renting the house from. I give the house 5 stars and will be returning in the near future! O and the view from the deck is amazing looking over the Indian River where we saw numerous bald eagles...

"Great location, right on the lake with built sand beach and docking. House is very specious and gives you a true feel of being up North. It has all needed supplies, appliances, utensils, dishes, etc., though we’ve missed having a dishwasher. Kayaks were also nice perks and very stable on the water. We really enjoyed a few beautiful sunsets from the backyard and will definitely consider coming back."

"We thought our annual trip was not going to happen due to the snow taking its time to show up, so reservations were very last minute. Before booking we had some questions and the owners were quick to answer. Very nice property with a great location to the trails. Thank you to Christel for being so nice and super helpful. "Wonderful, clean house in a nice neighborhood. Great back yard with a fire pit and wood. Very convenient walking distance to shops, restaurants, ice cream and a fudge shop. Easy walk to the park and river. Easy drive to Mackinaw City and across the Mackinac Bridge."

"My wife and sons and I stayed here and used it as a base of operations for day trips (Mackinac Island, St. Ignace, Cheboygan). It was great! Homey and comfortable. The fire pit was great, the host provided firewood (plus there’s tons to be gathered in the nearby woods). Kitchen was very nicely equipped for a northern Michigan cabin, we cooked breakfast and dinner every day. Lastly, it was nice watching the deer eat from the fruit trees on the other side of the road. Would recommend!"
