Situated on a prime 2.5-acre lot in a lush wooded setting, Mullett Lake Home is a true Northern Michigan vacation masterpiece. The property—which includes the exquisitely constructed 9,000+ square foot main residence—is located on a scenic bluff at Red Pine Point, a naturally beautiful area offering gentle westerly winds and breathtaking sunsets. This incredible vacation lodge has amenities that you can’t find anywhere else, including a full Dublin-style pub with pool table, a full game room, sauna, steam room, surround-sound home theater with 120-inch screen & stadium seating, hot tub, fireplaces throughout, and a spectacular dock on the property’s over-100 feet of exclusive shoreline. The main house & charming carriage house provide a total of 9 bedrooms,12 Baths, and can sleep up to 22 guests. The main house includes 5 bedrooms (2 with gas fireplaces), 7 bathrooms (2 with steam showers), & a large dining room which seats 12\. The kitchen includes top-of-the-line appliances, library with gas fireplace, living room with wood burning stove and family room with wood burning fireplace. The workout room, located in basement,has a full bath,steam shower,sauna, treadmill, elliptical,and both machine and free weights. The basement also has a large game area with an 8’ pool table, 22’ full size shuffleboard,Chexx Bubble Boy hockey,Golden Tee, 2 multicades,5 pinballs and 2 bar top megatouch games. There is a beautiful Dublin style pub bar situated within the game area which is perfect for entertaining. In addition to all this is a theater with a 120” screen that seats 10\. The theater can be used for viewing Blu Ray movies or Directv. The charming carriage house has 4 bedrooms. The master suite takes the entire top floor and includes a gas burning stove,king sized burl wood bed, satellite TV, the bathroom has a full-sized Jacuzzi tub,two vanities,stand up shower with full body spray and euro glass. Two of the other bedrooms include their own unique king sized bed and full bathroom each finished uniquely in limestone and granite. The last bedroom is a bunk bed with queen sized mattress and has its own full bathroom uniquely in limestone and granite. The living room includes a large screen TV, natural burning three sided fireplace, dining room table for six and bar area that has five chairs. The kitchen is fully functional with full size refrigerator, stove,dishwasher, microwave and under counter ice maker. Throughout both main house and carriage house is a newly upgraded audio/video system that has FM, sirius xm as well as a large preloaded music library. Throughout the home you will use Ipad minis to control the TV’s, theater and music selections. Several areas also have in wall touch screens which also control these functions. Attached to the main house is a screened porch with wood fireplace, natural gas grill, and seating. The backyard is large enough for volleyball and the front of the home includes a hot tub, table and chairs. Near the lake shore you will find 1,600 sq ft of decks with a screened gazebo and numerous seating choices. While staying here we took a day trip to Makinaw Island which was a 40 minute drive to catch the ferry… very convenient!The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We can’t all make it for the entire week but arrive and depart according to family work schedules. The adult children, their spouses and our grandchildren all loved the home and beach area. Driveway had room for all family and guest vehicles. The basement arcade and theater room were a huge hit. I spent at least two hours per day in the indoor BBQ and fireplace room which includes a make-up air ventilation system. The home has a Smart System which is intuitive and convenient. Building Managers were there to answer questions and address issues as necessary. Obviously, the pricing is at the higher end of the VRBO range but for the first time (in comparison to our previous Charlevoix and Harbor Springs venues), I feel like we received the accommodations we paid for! ##### Joseph D. The artwork was amazing and enhanced the already phenomenal property. The patio area was the most popular place to gather. The lake is beautiful but was still a little cool the end of June. The living room and family room layouts facilitated gatherings. The game room was the most popular room for all ages, amazing selection. Among rental properties and hotels the fitness room had better equipment than all but high end hotels. It was better stocked than any other property we've rented. The property manager was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. As mentioned in other reviews going from the lake to the house can be a challenge for some. Stairs! and No View of Water from House This 22-person property was advertised to have a beach, beach chairs, a boat dock, and a boat on Mullett Lake, which were pivotal in our decision to rent this property over others in Northern Michigan, particularly as we were organizing a special family weekend for my parents’ 80th birthday. The total rental cost for the property was double that of osimilar homes in the area for a 3-night stay. I was required to pay over half of this amount upfront and the remaining half about 45 days before occupancy. The property manager, Jill Feagan, did not call or text me that the beach, pontoon boat, and boat dock were not be available for use. The unavailability of these amenities, as depicted in the VRBO listing, was devastating. We had our 22 family members traveling from Chicao, New York, Montana, Virgnia and Michigan. Upon our arrival on Memorial Day weekend, there was no view, no boat and a mountain climb to the water. The boat dock was not in and covered the beach, making both unusable. The boat lift also blocked the view of the water from the lower deck and gazebo area and provided for unsightly pictures. The exterior facilities of the house were not ready and unusable. The patio furniture and fire pit furniture were locked up, and the gazebo and beach areas were inaccessible. After the furniture was brought out, we realized it was filthy, and only sat 6\. Only half the games in the basement worked. The lawn was not cut. No shampoo or soap in bathrooms or showers. Run! ##### ward b. The home is absolutely beautiful and has quality furnishings and amazing art !! We ended up with a brisk and rainy weekend but it was not spoiled because there is so much to do onsite (billiard pool, shuffle board, pinball games, card table and lots of games, hot tub and several tv’s for sport events). There is an awesome workout area complete with sauna and steam room. We felt like Royalty staying there. And my husband put the icing on the cake when he hired Colin’s Confections & Catering from Harbor Springs to feed our group of 18\. It was an EPIC celebration. ##### David R. We had an awesome week together. The house offers activities and space for everyone. The basement area was a particular hit with a pool table, many arcade games, shuffleboard, a theater room and fitness center. The back patio was our favorite spot to hang out and enjoy time together. The only drawback was the huge number of stairs down to the lake. We heard that a lift is being installed but would recommend that people are aware of the 100 steps down to the lake. It didn't deter our family from enjoying the beautiful lake! We would highly recommend this house for large family vacations! ##### Terry S. We were all adults so having so many bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms was a selling point for us. We made great use of the pub/game room area. We ate in for dinner most days.
