Dirty dishes in sink and dishes washed and to be put away. Counters needing cleaning. Floor swept. We expected some of this, based upon the message that the cleaning person was called away. The bathrooms on lower and middle level were not cleaned: hair in tub, toothpaste on sink counter, toilet needing attn. There were damp used towels in these bathroom too. We eventually found some bath towels but not hand towels. One suggestion a binder or folder with instruction about the location for trash disposal and other preferences'/suggestions. We double bagged the trash at end of trip and left in kitchen, since we never found a trash barrel outside. We noted the sign that sign “Guest please use empty drawers” too late. We did our best, the owner refunded our cleaning fee, which was helpful. Maybe this was just a newer rental, and will improve. ##### Sioban H.
