![Ever seen such a picturesque building in front of the Sierras? 

Inspired by the surrounding mountains, our hatchery was built to last. Expert craftsmen — led by Charles Dean of the State Department of Engineering — teamed up with Fish and Game Commissioner M.J. Connell to design a striking, durable building. Construction started in late March of 1916 with the goal of completing the project in the spring of 1917 — just in time to receive the first eggs. With the help of local builders, Mt. « We stayed in this motel for one night - The exterior is beautiful and it has a nice view of the mountains. We arrived around 7:45pm - The owners left an enveloppe on the office door to give us the instructions: easy check-in. They offer breakfast at 7am in the morning (even if the website says it's not included). The room is small but has everything you need. The bed is comfortable, bath towels are great, microwave is a plus. It's clean if you're not too picky - There's dust under the bed and...

« Nous avons passé une agréable nuit dans cet hôtel. Le lit était vraiment confortable, et les draps très doux. L'équipement de la chambre est très bien : cafetière+ frigo + micro-onde ! Ce qui permet de manger quelques chose de chaud acheté en magasin à moindre coût. Et le plus était également la possibilité faire une machine avec le lave-linge et le sèche-linge à disposition (environ 7 euros dosette incluse) Très bon passage à cet hôtel lors de notre road trip de 21 jours. »

Le bar/café en face est une très bonne option pour le petit déjeuner. Le restaurant barbecue au fond de la rue est plutôt bon aussi. A coté du parc de la ville il y a un bon spot pour observer les étoiles quand le ciel est dégagé. Cette ville et cet endroit sont très apaisants. »

"Nous avons passé une agréable nuit dans cet hôtel. Le lit était vraiment confortable, et les draps très doux. L'équipement de la chambre est très bien : cafetière+ frigo + micro-onde ! Ce qui permet de manger quelques chose de chaud acheté en magasin à moindre coût. Et le plus était également la possibilité faire une machine avec le lave-linge et le sèche-linge à disposition (environ 7 euros dosette incluse) Très bon passage à cet hôtel lors de notre road trip de 21 jours. "
