Lovely and quaint little place, staff was excellent, friendly and attentive and the room was clean. The only bad thing I could find was the soundproofing, which left to be desired.

Have stayed in a Campanile hotel before in Bruges that was fine. This one is a bit tired the main building is fine the room blocks and rooms themselves do need some refurbishment. Sanitary ware and taps seem to have been replaced recently but basin was badly cracked. Carpet did not look good and exterior definitely needed major decoration. Otherwise staff helpful and friendly meals quite good room size and beds all OK

No frills
It is what i expected from this type of budget hotel. Good for 1 night stopover. Bed was comfy enough but did not use the restaurant. Staff member very good also.

Decent Hotel close to St Malo.
Room was clean and tidy. Bed a bit hard but OK. Twin room but only one extra pillow? Why? Advertised tea & coffee facilities but only two coffee sachets, one tea bag and the two little milk containers were out of date and had turned. Having just driven from Bordeaux it was pretty disappointing not to have a cup of coffee at least. Having said all that I slept well, the air con was effective and we got the ferry first thing no problem. As an overnight stay it was acceptable but a bit of a disappointment considering it was not a cheap hotel. Probably won't stay again.

Stayed overnight prior to the St Malo/:Portsmouth ferry. Good location for the ferry port. Room small but c/w TV & kettle. Supply of coffee sachets, milk & tea bags limited. Restaurant good. Over the last few years the price of Campanile rooms has crept up but now price seems to have outpaced standards.

Nos chambres font une taille idéale pour deux personnes et sont équipées selon les attentes de nos clients. Notre restaurant est de qualité, propose des buffets d'entrées et de desserts à volonté. Nos cuisiniers élaborent tous les jours des plats différents avec des produits de saison proposés par nos fournisseurs. In fact our rooms ar quite smell but are perfect to welcome two people, we enjoy a high quality bedding. With the double doors, we don't ear anything from the main street. Our restaurant answer to the guest demands, with the starter and dessert buffet and the warn day main courses we try to satisfy you every lunch and every dinner. Perfect stopover on a journey
Although not usually in the picturesque corner of town , Campanille Hotels are reliably clean and comfortable and do not smell of stale cigarettes. They are perfect for a stopver on a long drive through France. I sleep well ! Although I do not need it myself I was pleased to see there was facilities for disabled guests. Parking, ramps into the restaurant, ground floor rooms and a seat in the shower.

Nice place, handy for St Malo.
Accommodation is very good and very clean, with free wifi. However, the food in the restaurant is ok, but overpriced. Over 21 Euros for a steak is excessive. Meals of the day are about 16 Euros. Still a lot for what you get.

Ideal hotel for the port of St Malo

Good last night before an early ferry.
We would have preferred the hotel to have been closer into St Malo but it had a good supermarket close by and we were able to reach the ferry port within 20 mins. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and very comfortable.

A nice stopping point out of the centre of St Malo
This hotel is in a very nice location near to a large local supermarket with self service buffet in less than 3 mins driving distance due to busy road and a Gormet Wok in walking distance which is an all you can eat Chinese buffet for 17 Euros.

Simple motel, very comfortable and easy to find
Simple, basic budget motel, but perfectly clean, comfortable and pleasant. Nice rooms, friendly staff and a decent breakfast spread. Free parking too.

We were led to believe that the hotel was on one level due to info on the web site. We were with a dog and found the people above csme in late and seemed to walk around constantly for s long time which we could hear and unsettling our dog. The television volume went off at 11pm and nothing we could do could get any volume back. Not impressed. The bed was very hard snd the pillows which there were not enough of were very uncomfortable. The worst nights dleep i have had in a hotel.

Perfect for the overnight stayers
We've stayed in refurbished room with space bathroom and bathtub. Beds are comfortable and clean. Hotel located at quite area and good sleep for tired travelers. Free wifi was good working order. Value for money and would stay again.

Our ferry was delayed, so when we landed at St malo we tried to phone the hotel; it was just before 2300hrs. There was no reply except to say that the hotel was closed and then went to advertising blurb. We arrived at the hotel and tried to phone again. Unfortunately as we had booked through Hotels.com we didn't have a Camponile confirmation number so couldn't proceed with the automated system! So we went to the adjacent Premierclasse hotel to book with them. Their service was second to none! In the morning, I tried to convey my predicament to to lady manager at the Camponile but to no avail. She was unsympathetic and not prepared to understand or appreciate the situation; certainly not conducive to good Camponile relations! So, although we have stayed here on many occasions, the managements attitude has sorely put us off!

Ideal for one night
The hotel was ideal for one night ahead of our ferry home. The room was very clean and comfortable and there was a restaurant on site offering an evening meal and an excellent breakfast. The WiFi was poor though.

Nice hotel to stay at on the way to Saint Malo
This is a clean, nice hotel to stay at close enough to Saint Malo. The receptionist was helpful with directions and the breakfast was OK, but a little pricey. Nothing special about the hotel, but OK for one night stay on the road,

Homeward bound
We were catching a ferry from St Malo to Portsmouth, so wished to stay overnight beforehand after a busy visit to family. The room was excellent with a good bathroom and extremely comfortable beds. After a short walk around the retail centre, where there was Sunday opening, we had a meal in the hotel restaurant which was enjoyable with good choices and prompt service.

Shopping trip in St. Malo
A shopping trip! Hotel in pleasant area only problem the noise of traffic but we knew the position of hotel when we booked. Safe parking was our main concern. We only had one buffet meal as we did not feel value for money ! We would however stay again. The bed rather hard but bedding beautifully white. Staff very welcoming.

Good for short stay
2 Nights stay to enable use to visit St Malo, Dinan & Cancale. Campanile Hotels are WISIWIG, and this one was fine bearing that in mind. Breakfasts and dinner were very good, with lot of choice, and fresh. Excellent service
