Just out of town a bit so did have to drive to things but the tour companies did pick up and drop off at the resort which made it easy. Such a unique and comfortable lodging looking over the plains north of Longreach. The night sky a few Km out of town is spectacular without any light pollution. Unfortunately Longreach was subject to some very cold nights whilst I was there and the A/c had difficulty in heating the tent space. But the supplied port helped warm the cockles and I’m certain that under normal circumstances the stay would have been perfect. The tent had all possible accoutrements to make the stay memorable and the sumptuous breakfast was enjoyed. Great bed and shower. Chocolate, marshmallows and port for us to use. Breakfast was sensational every day. Only drama was the GPS to get us there had the coordinates incorrect, it really is only a couple of klms from the airport/centre of town.
