Jump aboard a boat trip from the harbour to spot sea life aplenty along your journey to Lundy Island, renowned for its puffins. Back on dry land, outdoor adventurers can enjoy moorland and woodland walks through Exmoor National Park (12 miles) or ride the water-powered cliff railway from the pretty town of Lynton (19.5 miles) down to neighbouring Lynmouth. The picture-perfect cove of Tunnels Beaches can be reached within half a mile.
