Very peaceful and great location for exlporing
The apartment was small but fine for a couple. It was clean, modern and well equipped. It is in a great location for exploring the East of Crete. The complex was very quite and the pool areas were delightful. A car is a necessity. A great relaxing week.

We had a great vacation at Bayview resort near Makrygialos. Appartement was lovely , resort was great. Easy atmosphere, super management.

Small but perfectly formed accommodation
We are a family of four 2 adults, a teenager and a child and recently stayed at Neal & Debra's apartment. The apartment had everything we needed and was exactly as described. Neal was extremely helpful from initial enquiry through to our actual stay. He was informative giving advice on car hire and places to visit during our stay. We had a wonderful holiday and Areti and her management team at Lagada Bay could not do enough from arranging transport for evenings out to ordering morning coffee and pastries from the local bakery. Makri Gialos is a beautiful unspoilt resort - a step back in time where our youngest daughter enjoyed a paddle in the sea in between the courses of our evening meal at the Golden Beach taverna. Will definitely be returning.

A lovely place to stay
We have just come back from an 11 night stay. Everything from emailing to Neil before booking to arriving at the property was a good experience. The directions to the property were great and when we arrived we were met by the lovely Areti, who was full of useful information of where to go, shop, eat etc. The apartment is in a quiet location , the pools are great, plenty of sunbeds, and on occasion, as it was almost the end of the season, we had the pool to ourselves. The property itself is small, but perfectly formed. The roof terrace was a great place to watch the sunset with a bottle of wine. The only drawback was that we had to get in the car to go into the town to the restaurants and shops. The actual location of the property does mean that, in my opinion, you do need a car, or a very good pair of legs! If you go to this property I don't think you will be disappointed, enjoy.

Posto molto suggestivo...
Il complesso è moderno e molto nuovo, la piscina non particolarmente profonda ma molto suggestiva, personale super disponibile e sorridente, per quanto riguarda le spiagge, è quasi incredibile davanti al complesso c’è un enorme spiaggia dove poter far attività sportiva e mangiare qualche frutto in completa libertà, senza incontrare praticamente nessuno...fantastico. In direzione ......Macri gialos è raggungibile a piedi con 20 minuti di camminata dove trovare ristoranti e negozi di souvenir, con anche qualcosina per i bimbi. In direzione Goudaras...... si trovano spiaggie e calette inimmaginabili...da sogno.... È obbligatoria la macchina.. Unica nota stonata la free wi-fi non funziona praticamente e tutte le trasmissioni dati anche su gli propri DEVICE funziona in modo pessimo su questa parte dell isola... UN POSTO PERFETTO PER FAMIGLI E COPPIE LO CONSIGLIEREI DAVVERO!

Belle propriété
Agréable appartement, mais bruyant à cause des voisins, un peu trop isolé, une voiture est vraiment indispensable. Accueil cependant très professionnel et sympathique. La résidence est propre, bien entretenue. Pas de sèche cheveux dans l'appartement. Les abords de la plage sont laids. Makrygialos manque d'authenticité. Village seulement balnéaire. Sinon la région est magnifique, sauvage, coin très reposant.
