Authentic mountain cabin built in 1923, right on the edge of Strawberry Creek (literally). You can open any window in the cabin and hear the seasonal creek running through Idyllwild. A short, lovely 10 minute walk (4/10 of a mile) from the center of town. Secluded location hidden from road, surrounded by beautiful grove of pines, redwoods, oaks and dogwoods. A perfect retreat to reconnect and rejuvenate. Home is also walking distance to the local creekside amphitheater. Stop by there on the weekend during the summer to enjoy concerts in the park. Or listen from the back deck the sound of music filtering through the trees. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING: Streaming services are available, but guests must log in using their accounts. This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning. \-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. The creek location is perfect. The furnishings we’re very comfortable and the rental agency staff we’re excellent in helping to resolve a minor issue. We had a great stay at this great cabin next to the stunning creek. Four of us women got to reconnect and celebrate a friend’s birthday. The deck was absolutely perfect for enjoying our coffee in the morning and our wine and charcuterie in the afternoon. The sounds of the creek were so peaceful and the beds were so comfortable for a great way to recharge on our getaway! I would highly recommend this cabin as will be back! ##### Alexandra F. My mother was already planning our next visit when she first stepped in. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Everything from the furniture to the decorations to the homely touches encapsulates everything that we love about Idyllwild: it's timelessness, it's humility, it's grace, it's charm, it's simplicity. Plenty of space for our family of five. We had trouble turning on the lights in the main living area at first, but the property manager was very helpful and arranged to send someone out to help us.
