We needed a stress free place for our pup, who is terrified of fireworks. The cabin is clean and in a secluded area. It's got a A/C unit and fans to cool the place off. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils and spices of all kinds. The free coffee and tea was a plus. We had a few barbecues in the back patio. Its a wonderful area to have dinner in the evening and coffee in the morning. The wildlife was great to listen to and see. ( mostly birds and chipmunks) Everything was perfect for our family weekend. There's even board games. Checking in and out was a breeze. There are steep stairs that go to the front entrance so i wouldn't recommend this place for someone with mobility issues. I loved the Nest check-in (we arrived later in the day and didn't have to bother the host with check-in)! Kitchen had everything we needed including a tea kettle as we are huge tea drinkers. The living room is very comfortable. We all were able to sit on a huge couch there! And the gem of this property is, of course, the patio! I wish the weather was a bit warmer but we spent as much time as we could outside on the patio. Rob was super fast at communicating and responding to all my questions and dealing with a small bathroom problem! The only things I would improve is more window coverings on the top floor. We loved the large living room, TV, and wraparound porch for outdoor dining and drinks. Perfect for your morning coffee to watch the mountain jays, grey squirrels, and chipmunks in the trees. Of note, there is some traffic noise as the house is close enough to the road to hear the occasional car. Also there is a steep staircase to the entrance which would not be accessible for some people.
