![Idaho Falls was created by a man-made diversion dam used for hydroelectric power. Before the dam was created, this was just a bunch of small rapids. Now, the Snake River makes a drop of about 20 ft. or so over a width of 1200 ft. There is a beautiful walkway along the river here, so one can stroll along the whole length of the falls. In the background is the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple.

« This was a nice, reasonably priced hotel before the new ownership. The new ownership has taken it up another notch. Wonderful new beds, laminate floors, just excellent! The staff were great too! Didn't have any need for anything, but they were friendly. The complimentary breakfast was great, and the staff person overseeing it was kind and courteous. Wonderful experience. Would highly recommend. »

« Beautiful new hotel confortable beds great service and location just abit outside of downtown. The area is a bit noisy in the morning though. Gotel has a full service restaurant with bar. If you plan to eat breafast pay for the voucher through Expedia it will save you except for the tip.you can also buy the dinner+ breakfast voucher but considering the price the breakfast is the best deal and good food. The reataurant sell up scale Burgers that are a bit more than your average pub burger. »

« Idéalement situé au bord de la rivière il permet d'emprunter le riverwalk et de se rendre facilement jusqu'au jardin japonais à pied. Le nombre de places de parking semble assez limité (environ 1 place pour 2 chambres) mais il est aisé de se garer le long de la rue. La chambre est spacieuse et semble bien insonorisée. Le petit déjeuner propose un "omelette bar" ou le personnel de l'hôtel prépare votre omelette à la demande et sous vos yeux. »
