great for a stay in sant antoni
overall a great stay. simple place with fridge and mini stove. The place is a bit worn but not ugly. a/c started to leak at night but Then it stopped after resetting it. free parking, great pool and a nice view of the ocean (depending what floor/unit you are at), for the price, it was really worth it. Attention, a longer walk than usual if your not driving.

You get what you pay for
This hotel was good enough and I can't complain for the price however I stayed there 3.5 days and it wasn't cleaned! However free hairdryer available upon request, the staff were lovely, there was a shop right next door that opened at 10am. It was quiet the full stay however you could hear everything outside and other customers. The beds were awful as everytime you moved you could hear the full springs squeak and the toilet would barely flush. It wasn't that far a walk for, you are 10 mins if lucky to cafe mambo at the waterfront so the location is fine for those who have complained previously! Which is right next to a beautiful beach. However it is a bit quiet walking along the streets so I would recommend a taxi at night. The hotel will now close after season as its being renovated, hopefully a better pool as the one they have was never out the shade so not great and you weren't allowed to do anything at it, as it's 'the law'. Would I stay again? No but it was value for money for those looking for a cheap stay.

Fantastic Retreat from the Action
We had a very enjoyable three night stay at El Coto. Although the complex is a bit dated, it has been well maintained and was clean. The room - although again not modern - was well equipped and large. The rooms only get made up once a week (so not at all during our stay) but as long as you know that, then its fine. That inconvenience is offset by the convenience of a kitchenette in the room. There was always plenty of space around the pool - which catches plenty of the sun. The hotel complex is also connected to a bar/restaurant with its own outside seating, and a supermarket. Everything you could need was there. We found staff friendly and helpful throughout (we dealt with three staff members) including borrowing a hair dryer and ordering a taxi etc. We were able to access our room two hours before check-in. The area is quiet (no noise at night including from other guests), but is a nice 15/20 minute walk along the coastal path to San An. All in all we really enjoyed our first visit to Ibiza, and the hotel was a big part of that.

Nicely out of the way.
Lovely size room, great air conditioning (free). Cleanliness excellent. Disappointing even in July that the pool area was deserted though, guessing everyone partying hard or down at the beach. Lovely beach/cove (Cala Gracio) a 10 minute walk away. The strip/Golden Buddha etc also 10 minute walk the other way. With both a beach and the nightlife just 10 minutes away but being in a very quiet area of San An location was great. Must say all staff were very very helpful but a special mention for Lina who was delightful and went out of her way to make my stay as good as possible. Wifi absolutely fine for general surfing, as long as no downloading of maps, photos etc which was slow.

Needs better security at night
So this is a good 20 minute walk from the West End, but costs 7 Euro if you want to get a taxi so not too bad! The apartment itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. So the main problem was the noise at night. This place prides itself on being quiet and more relaxed where it is away from the party scene, however there were groups of people who were stupidly loud all hours of the nights playing music on the balconies at 1am onwards, screaming and banging on doors etc. I was woken up 4 times on the 2 nights I stayed there. I asked for a refund for the 2nd night so I could stay elsewhere, however the hotel wasn't willing to do that. I paid for late check out on the last day, however the only reason I needed it was because I had no sleep the night before due to the noise. The receptionist was very kind and sweet, however I feel the hotel should have just refunded me so I could stay somewhere else. I get that it's Ibiza and its loud etc. However when I'm getting in 2-3am and I can't sleep because of noise not being controlled properly, it's not good. I wouldn't stay here again purely because of this reason, which is a shame because it could have been amazing. Would highly recommend The Red Hotel.

The hotel was situated out of the noise but had easy access into the town and to a little sea taverna with a ferry crossing into San Antonio The staff were pleasant Although the room was never cleaned but it was only a 4 day stay The pool looked one of the nicest but nobody was ever in it and it was private the hotel bar was rustic and nice the whole experience of the place I'd say a 4 out of 5

Lovely small quiet hotel with friendly staff
The receptionist was very welcoming and made sure we had every we needed, she was always very friendly and chatty which left a very good impression on our stay at the hotel. We wanted to stay in a quieter place but close to the bay for watching the sunset and It was perfect for us. We had a hire car so that we could explore the lovely beaches at our leisure but Cala Gracio was a great local beach 5 mins walk away and the aquarium bar which was great for watching the sunset.

Basic but spotless apartments.....
These were spotlessly clean but very very basic. Staff amazing especially the night man (he's hilarious!!). Apartments a good 20min walk to Mambos but its nice to be out of the way as quiet and peaceful during the day - you can actually get some sleep! Be VERY aware of the self locking balcony door as we discovered locking ourselves out there at 3am....not ideal! Also be VERY careful when turning off the gas hob....we turned it off but it wasn't turned off - coming back to our room after 15/16 of it on was scary indeed! All in all a great place, lovely staff, very clean and just what you need if you only want a bed and a pool! Would definitely return - room 311 the most fun room there ;)

Great trip!
Hotel staff were absolutely lovely! Very polite and friendly. Stayed here for 2 nights with my mum for a relaxed break- good location, bit of a walk from the centre of San Antonio but good excercise and nice and peaceful for a good nights sleep.

Nice quiet hotel
Nice hotel away from the noise and parties of city center. Room was spacious and the kitchenette well-equipped. The woman at reception was very knowledgeable, friendly and gave us lots of tips about the island. The pool area was clean, with lots of furniture around the pool for lounging.

Nice and peaceful
The hotel is well placed near to a small beach and a leisurely walk to the centre if you want a nice meal and a few drinks. For the really high powered noisy night life you need to go further to the main port which is around 7 euros in a taxi 10-15mins away or a good 35-40 mins walk. Overall the area is very pleasing and clean. The rooms at the hotel are absolutely spotless all be it they are a little old fashioned and dated but could not fault anything. Had a problem with shower and it was fixed immediately. Very reasonably priced too. Pool area is lovely and quiet no fighting for sun beds. The bar restaurant attached to the hotel is ok for drinks and basic meals if you don't want to move away from your surroundings. All in all a very relaxing pleasant place to stay.

Nice big apartment, clean with balcony's. Shower wasn't great. There is a boat that takes you to the town or you can walk (30 mins). Quiet location. TIP, of you go out clubbing make sure you have drink in your room when you return. As when we returned at 6am the receptionist could only get us beer? (No water). The shop didn't open until 10am!

El Coto is a family run no-frills aparthotel which we've stayed in a number of times over the past ten years. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and were able to allow us to check-in at 9am (early flight!); the bar staff (Sergio) and the shop keep (Jose Antonio) have been at El Coto since we can remember and really friendly and helpful too. There's nothing too fancy at the El Coto - it is simple, clean and quiet; the worse noises you'll hear are from the neighbouring Tanit! Visitors should make sure to visit Cala Gracio and the neighbouring Cala Gracioneta, and there are a couple of fantastic little bars for those prepared to walk a little.

This place is cheap, clean, quiet and within walking distance of the sunset strip. This is the third time me and my Husband have stayed at El Coto and it's just what we need for a cheap week in the sun. It's a no frills place to get your head down and the pool is decent. The staff are pleasant and the evening security guard is excellent at ensuring the place stays quiet at night. I know many places can get rowdy in Ibiza but not this one.

My Girlfriend and I have just returned from our 3rd stay at El Coto and we will definitely be going back again next year. Our room was spacious and had great views of sunset strip (Kanya, etc). Pool is large enough for a quick swim and the pool area is quiet and clean. There's a small supermarket and bar attached to the apartments or its a 10 min walk to the other shops nearby. Not a place for wild partying but a more chilled out stay.

large clean room which contained everything we needed for a comfortable stay.just ask if you need a toaster.we were also given an umrella for use on the beach,bus and ferry both nearby to go into san an(taxi costs 6 euros or 15 minute walk).nice pool area with plenty of sunbeds.shop and restaurant are also available if needed.would gladly stay at the el coto again.highly recommended!

Great holiday experience
Clean and tidy rooms, cleaned twice a week. No toaster, microwave or ironing board but meals in the restaurant great and staff very helpful. Apartments close to great beach at Cala Gracio and 10 minutes walk to centre of San Antonio. We hired a car at a cheap rate and travelled round the island to the many beaches and great restaurants. Had a great holiday and would recommend these apartments and a trip to Ibiza to everyone.

Quiet location a short walk from the sunset strip. This is the second time I have stayed in these apartments with my husband and on both occasions we were more than pleased. They are clean, safe, functional and well priced. They are basic but this is reflected in the price. The bar attatched to the apartments serves decent food and the staff are great.

Relaxing Break
This was the second time we have stayed at the El Coto and we had a great time here. The hotel is lovely, clean and quiet whilst being well located close to San Antonio and the lovely beaches of Cala Gracio and Cala Gracioneta. It has a good pool and the staff are very helpful. Definitely recommended!

Honestly, I was scared when I booked this hotel because it was so cheap! But it was okay. It is a clean and decent place for a couple of days. It has a little kitchenette with dishes, etc. It is within walking distance from the beach and the fabulous sunset bars (Cafe Mambo, Cafe Del Mar). But it is far away from the big hotels on the west side of Sant Antoni, so if you are looking to be in the midst of that madness, this is not the place for you.We drove out of Sant Antoni about 20 minutes to Cala Bassa, one of THE most beautiful beaches in the world, I highly recommend it.

What I did on my Holiday......
The Apartments were nice.They were in a lovely surrounding, the balcony was large enough for the two of us to sit out on and enjoy the sun, the pool area is good and in general I would recommend it.There is a small super market built on the side of the Apts, this is useful but is a little pricey, and walking to the nearest real super market (Eroski or Suma) is a good 20 minutes each way, in July and August i could see that being quite a daunting prospect :p The Cleaner comes once per week and she was good, popped in the minute we went to the pool and when we got back it was all as if we had just got there. The catering facilities were reasonable, plates and cutlery etc, plus a box of matches to light the hob, no oven, but then again, who is going to be cooking a Sunday roast on holiday :-)

Top Quality hotel
If you want to be near the west end, the beach, the best chill out beach bar, stay here. It is 10 minute walk from the town, 5 minute walk to the Aquariam, 10 mins from Gracio beach (a lovely cove). The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, well worth the money, should be more than 2 keys!!!. The best part is the service from INIS, the receptionist, we asked for a toaster and it was there straight away, we also asked for no chemicals to be sprayed into the room (allergic) when the maid came around, this was no problem. She was very accomodating and helpful with everything, brilliant!!!! If you want to stay somewhere just outside the action where its a little bit quieter and still be within walking distance of all the amenities and want somewhere nice to stay, stay here at El coto!!!!!

The room had an ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath, a kitchenette with fridge, 2 ring gas hob, sink and electric kettle plus all the necessary pots and pans, crockery and cutlery. The room itself was spacious with two single beds puched together, a small table with three chairs, a wardrobe, a safe (extra cost), a storage unit on one side of the bed and a bedside table on the other. It also had a TV, air conditioning, a large sunny balcony with two chairs and a coffee table accessed via a sliding patio door and a lovely sea view. The hotel had a swimming pool which was rather cold, a resturant and bar and a supermarket which was useful but a bit more pricy than others in the town. The hotel is located to the edge of the town but easy walking distance from it. Things that were not provided that you might want to consider taking: Soap for the bathroom Washing up liquid Wine glasses (only tumblers were provided) Mugs (only small tea cups and espresso cups were provided) Overall we were pleasantly suprised by the hotel as it seemed very good for a 2-star hotel. The receptionist could not have been more helpful, the hotel and rooms were kept clean and the beds were very comfortable.

We were very pleased we had chosen these apartments; on arrival we realised we had actually arrived a day early but the wonderful lady at reception was very accommodating and managed to find us another room on a busy weekend. All the staff are friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was a good size with balcony (with table and chairs for two), TV and a small table to eat at inside. There was a kitchen-ette with two gas burners and a fridge, wardrobe and safe (safe you need to pay for at reception). The hotel is situated on the calmer side of San Antonio, just by two lovely quieter beaches of Cala Gracio and Cala Gracionetta. We loved the art-deco look of the hotel; it has a small supermarket almost inside it and a bar. It is about a 10-15 min walk to the sunset strip. The best bit about this hotel was the value; I think it was advertised as 2*, but it we felt it was far better than this.

No water No Water No Water disaster
Stayed at this terrible hotel on the recommondation of an expedia member of staff for a last minute booking. Arrived at the hotel at 2am with no record of my booking at the hotel, a friendly but useless member of staff. Finally checked in after 30 minutes of arsing about. Got into the room and decided to have a shower after the journey. Turned the taps on and they spluttered for a second and no water came out. Same with the sink and (small) kitchen taps. Complained to the staff and they looked into it and claimed that the wall the water in the hotel had gone down. Brilliant, only the loo worked and i didnt fancy a wash in that. Next morning the water was apparently fixed in the hotel, but still not in my room. So checked out and found a new hotel. Expedia staff i booked second room with wouldnt give me a discount becuase i had to go through customer services to put my compalint in. Super long, super useless and the closest thing to carry on on holiday you will ever come across. Sure if i'd had a shower babs windsor would have been on the other side of the shower curtain. RUBBISH.......

My boyfriend and I had a 3 day break at el coto in august , the apartments are about a 15-20 minute walk into san antonio but as we had both been before we knew the area pretty well and found the walk in fine. The taxi home one morning was about 6E so not to bad! The room was really clean ,spacious and i was very pleased with it for the price we had paid. Pool area was quiet we had the pool to ourselves most of the time which was lovely! I cant express highly enough how much the staff made us feel welcome and nothing was to much trouble, we had a brilliant weekend in elcoto and would recommend the apartments and would like to go back again next year .

I'll be back!
These apartments were perfect . I would however not recommend these apartments for young groups of people as it is quite small and quiet. The hotel was clean and friendly , the pool area was excellent considering the size of the place. There is a supermarket to the front of the apartments which is ideal ( but watch out - it's way more expensive than the bigger supermarkets! ) The hotel is located about a 10-15 minute walk from San Antonio's West End , great if you want to escape the mayhem. I have been to Ibiza 4 times , never stayed anywhere as near as good as this for the money .... but also keep in mind the fact it is quite quiet and seemed to be an ideal place for younger and older couples.

There was a group of 6 of us and we found this place fine. It seemed quiet particularly as it was early June, and there wasn't noise from near by San An. It is a little walk from San An. town, but easy enough to walk there or a 5 euro taxi after a night out. Handy supermarket and restaurant for lazy days by the pool.

Semplice e ottimo vicino alla bellissima spiaggia
Molto disponibile e gentile la signora alla reception e anche il personale serale. Appartamento spazioso con zona cucina attrezzata con fornelli, frigo, lavello e stoviglie. Biancheria da bagno profumata. Tv antiquata. Pulizia ogni 3 giorni con cambio biancheria. Possibilità di pasti nel'attaccato snack bar. Piccola piscina con lettini. Ampio parcheggio e zona tranquilla. A 200 metri da due bellissime calette e dell'acquario on possibilità di uscite in barca a bellissime spiagge. Centro a 500 metri con stazione centrale dei bus da Sant'Antonio alle varie località di Ibiza. Consigliato anche x il prezzo economico.

Situado en una zona tranquila. El aparcamiento es de tierra pero tiene sitio de sobra. Las habitaciones bien, algo anticuadas pero bien y muy limpias. Algún extranjero dando voces pero en general tranquilo. Lo único malo q podría poner son las almohadas q son papel de fumar. Sin duda volvería.

Apartamentos in zona tranquilla comodo parcheggio davanti. La struttura si presenta abbastanza bene,la camera era molto spaziosa con angolo cottura che non abbiamo usato. Essendo fuori dal centro e quasi indispensabile la macchiina. Rapporto prezzo prestazione nel periodo che siamo stati molto buono. Problemi con il wifi in camera quasi inesistente. Per il resto consigliato a chi non ha bisogno del lusso.
