"The hotel is perfectly situated for ferry day trips, to make use of the airport limousine bus (non stop bus to and from the airport), and to explore the nightlife and restaurants in the evening. The bus lines meet at the bus terminal which is also in easy walking distance from the hotel. The room was spacious for Japan and the balcony was a nice extension to the room space. Breakfast was bountiful and well worth including in your stay. For me it was exactly what I needed in order to be explore the islands around Ishigaki "

"We had a wonderful time at the ANA Intercontinental Ishigaki. Our room was comfortable, clean, and modern. The lobby always smelled refreshing. It was easy to get to the restaurants, pools, and amenities at other wings. It you rent a car, there was plenty of parking. We really had a lovely vacation and we're very happy with our choice to stay at ANA."

"The resort has everything and and a nice sunset. Everything is fine. Just the English standard of the staff need to improve for non Japanese tourists. One of the staff Ami , was the only one speak English and could help us. "

"It was good stay overall, only thing is that they give 1000yen Gift ticket per for not using House clean service. But they only give only one day ticket at a time, so we stayed 10 nights and everyday we had to go to the front for the 1000 gift ticket which is not convenient NOR good service. They should give all 9 tickets at time of check in. That was the service I received at other hotel nearby. "

"I ha e been staying at Blue Ocean for nearly 9 months while in Ishigaki for businesss. Blue Ocean is the perfect apartment-like stay with kitchen facility, plenty of space and a greay view of the ocean. The people working there are fantastic and willing to help me with anything I need, even though my Japanese is quite limited. I highly recommen Blue Ocean for a stay in Ishigaki!!! "

"Free breakfast was provided, with available amenities. The room was clean and the staff was friendly, we chose this hotel since it's close to the ferry port where you can book a tour to see the Yaeyama Islands or catch a ferry to the other islands. The only thing is that the bed was rock hard (I don't mind it but it was difficult for my husband). Otherwise, everything was great!"

"Snug but comfortable room, modern, clean, well equipped and homey, and located in a nice area. Reminded me of my apartment from when I used to live in Japan. The whisper-quiet multi-function air conditioner was greatly appreciated, as were the various amenities provided by the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel."
