Great location, clean and very good communication with owner

Located near Hyannis center, easy walking distance. 4 adult males down with a larger group for a weekend of golf. House was well equipped and clean, owner was responsive while booking.

Great visit

Property was wonderful, in a great location, and had some extras like a washer/dryer, central air, and a beach pass. Owners were very friendly and easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend.

Perfect location!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The home was perfectly located allowing us a lovely walk to the beach and the town. We enjoyed alfresco dinners on the lovely patio area in the wonderfully private yard. We all loved the outdoor shower. The owners were very nice to communicate with.

We enjoyed our stay, all booking, communication with owners and check in and check out went smooth. Plenty of linens, towels etc. large side yard though we did not use due to preplaned activities. Short walk to downtown Hyannis

Perfect family friendly getaway

We had such a wonderful week staying here! The property is in such a great location - close to downtown Hyannis shops, walkable to the beach and tucked away from the road with a back yard that is awesome for a family with kids! The house is spacious and cozy, and has everything you need, even a wagon to stroll to the beach with!

Sea Street Home

This is a delightful home perfectly located a short distance from Main Street and the harbor. Light and airy home fully equipped with everything that we needed for a long weekend stay. It was also spotless for our arrival. The owners have gone the extra mile here to make this a way above average property. Beds are comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, and the neighborhood was quiet and nice. Very highly recommended and look forward to opportunity to stay here again. Five stars across the board.

Cape Cod Vacation

The house was just what we wanted. Close to the ferry terminal, water front, close to main street shopping and great places to eat. And best of all it was back from the street in a quiet location with no noise! Perfect place to relax after visiting the islands!

A dream House

We are Italian and for us coming on holiday to America was a dream, when we arrived at the house in Hyannis we couldn't believe how beautiful it was! Very well maintained, complete with everything, in perfect New England style. The owners were very kind and very helpful. If we are lucky enough to return to Cape Cod we would definitely like to return to this little paradise!

Cozy and quiet

Very comfortable and homey place to stay. It really added to the special time spent with our daughter and her partner. It wasn't beach weather, but we didn't mind, there was plenty of other places to explore.

Hyannis Vacation

Three of my college classmates and I spent 4 days at a VRBO rental house in Hyannis. The house was delightful and filled with all of the amenities we needed. I communicated several times with the owners before and during our visit and both were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this property!

Exactly what we wanted!

The house and property were both exact what we were looking for. A short walk to Main Street for food and shopping and a short drive to the many beaches Hyannis has to offer. It had more than enough space for our family of 4 and the patio and outdoor shower were a nice addition as well!

Girls Weekend

This was a lovely spot, secluded yet close to everything we needed; restaurants and beaches. It had a big yard with lovely outside furniture and umbrella. It was the perfect place for us to catch up! The owners were very responsive to our questions. They have a wonderful place and I would highly recommend it.

Great location!

Our family loved it. The house was very clean and in a very quiet area. It was an easy walk to Main St. , Hyannis and also to the beach. The washer and dryer were wonderful to have especially with the grandchildren. Overall, it was great!.

Exceeded our Expectations

This property is as good as it gets. From the owners communication and responsiveness, to the beautiful home, to the location in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to historic Hyannis, to the amenities, to the detailed information in a notebook, everything was five stars. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Great family house!

This house was in the perfect location for us. We walked to the HyLine high speed boat to Martha’s Vineyard, drove about an hour to Provincetown and an hour to Woods Hole/Falmouth. The house was very clean and tidy with plenty of room for us. Our hosts Lisa and Lou were very informative and answered all our questions. They even wished us safe travels which I thought was very sweet. I would definitely stay there again.

Great rental! House was clean, tons of towels & beach stuff. Great location, enjoyed our walks to main st. For dinner, tons of great choices. Walked to the harbor as well to catch a ferry to the Vineyard. Host was very accommodating! Only reason i didn't give it a 5 star was the yard needed a mow, Outdoor shower needs some sprucing up, no toaster ( host apologized for that it had broke) Would stay here again!

Nice property, close to everything

The property itself is a little dated, but is in a great location that is close to Main Street and the harbor. The beach pass for all the Barnstable beaches was quite useful. Sunset on Sandy Neck was beautiful! Lisa and Louis were easy to work with throughout the entire process and very receptive to our comments. If you are looking for a place without all the “bells and whistles” that you would be paying a premium for, this is a nice affordable option where you can get the same great experiences on the Cape!

Sister Getaway

Was originally supposed to be my sister and brother having a getaway but it didn’t turn out that way so it was still a very nice time with my sister and niece. Ocean is less than a mile away walking one way and downtown Hyannis. Nice big back yard with nice lawn furniture. We had everything we needed for the four days. Highly recommend. Comfy beds. Great outdoor shower.

Great Getaway

The home had everything we needed but first and foremost - it was immaculate! For my sister and myself, that was one of the best points. Another great point was the mix of queen and twin beds. It may sound silly but several of us "old folks " have shoulder issues and having the option of our own bed was appreciated. It was also a great location - central to everything we did (beach, restaurants, train, shops, etc.) but yet the yard was private, large and beautiful. What a great place for a family with kids to stay. We talked about coming back and would love to stay at your home again.

Great spot!

The house was even cuter than expected! Great location - only minutes to Main St Hyannis about a 15 walk to the beach. The beach pass was super handy with kids since we could drive to Keyes beach (which had ample parking) with all of our stuff. It was also nice to be able to visit other Barnstable beaches with the pass. Had everything we needed for the beach including beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards. Lou texted us on the way in with info we needed and then made sure we knew what to do at check out the night before. Definitely would consider staying here again!

If we had a beach house, this would be it.

The house is very private and quiet. Furniture is comfy, cozy, and lived in. The kitchen was well stocked (we like to cook on vacation, so this was important.) Close to the beaches and came with a pass. Wahoo. Lisa and Lou were available to answer questions very quickly. We had been at a different house for 18 years. That house was sold. We hope this becomes our new Cape Escape for many years to come! Thank you.

This is hands down a great rental. Family owned and maintained. Had an opportunity to meet one of the owners. (We were early). Took time too show us around and allowed us to take the beach permit before our check-in time. Very nice. Plenty of parking. The home is set back off the main road for safety and privacy. The yard is huge and fenced in. Plenty of room for cornhole or a game of whiffle. A nice Weber grill and patio seating allow for lazy summer grilling and drinks. The house inside is cozy, welcoming, and clean. Very nice hard wood floors. Kitchen has all the necessary attributes (pots, pans, coffee maker, utensils, etc). Living room is a good size for congregating and comfortable. Nice TV as well. All four bedrooms are good sized and on the same floor. Full bathroom is normal size. The master bedroom has own bathroom as well. Outdoor shower is an added bonus. Central air keeps the house cool on those hot summer nights. The beach pass is good for all Barnstable area beaches. You just flash the pass at the attendant and you are in. I cannot speak for all the beaches, but I highly recommend Kalmus and Craigsville beaches. Both beaches have easy parking and are a very short walk to beach. Like 20 feet and your toes are in the sand. Distance from house: Kalmus Beach - 1.5 miles (5 min drive) Craigsville Beach - 3.5 miles (8 min drive) Another great attribute to this rental is its walkability to Main Street. A 5 minute walk and you have access to a multitude of shops and restaurants. Recommended restaurants and bars are Beech Tree Cantina, Tap City Grille, British Beer Company. (No need too drive or hail a cab if you get a little tipsy) Dunkin Donuts and Convienence store are very close. For breakfast, do yourself a favor and try Sea Street Cafe. Excellent and creative breakfast menu. (We went 3 times in a week) Overall, this is a great place. Perfect for a family with kids, couples getaway, or get together with friends. We will be back next season for sure.
