Spacious and sunny 1 BR Cottage with an ocean view of Nantucket Sound! Located in Harbor Village on the border of Hyannis Port. Unwind after a day of exploring historic Main Street in Hyannis, or the nearby islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, or roaming local beaches, with a memorable stay at Harbor Village Cape Cod, right by the scenic Atlantic shore. From your deck you can relax and read a book, while watching the ferries traveling back and forth from the islands to Hyannis Harbor. Dog friendly! 1BR with Queen Bed, Daybed in Living Room. Ocean view from Daybed. 1 full bathroom with tub and shower, Air Conditioning, Electric Heat, TV, Wi-Fi. Deck with table and chairs. Relax and read a book while watching the ferries travel back and forth from the islands to Hyannis Harbor. Beautiful ocean breeze. Weber gas grill. Parking for 2 cars. Because this cottage rents Saturday to Saturday during the peak season, June 20 to September 5, dates during the week in peak season may appear to be unavailable on the VRBO calendar, but the dates ARE available, unless the entire week (Saturday to Saturday) is grayed out. This is a quirk of the VRBO calendar display, when you can only check in on a Saturday and check out on a Saturday. Two-night minimum stay between May 1 and June 20 (includes Memorial Day weekend), and between September 5 and October 31 (Includes Labor Day weekend and Columbus Day weekend). VRBO says the beach is a 7-minute walk, but that time is auto-calculated by Google Maps which assumes someone would walk to the beach on the road. The beach is about a 3-minute walk from the cottage, via the Harbor Village footpath, which is next to this cottage. Walk Harbor Village's private footpath along the tidal estuary to Ocean Avenue Beach and Keyes Beach on Nantucket Sound. A third beach, Hyannis Port Beach, is 200 yards from the entrance to Harbor Village. Set up your own beachhead to sun, picnic or watch the sailors on Nantucket Sound. The summer water temperature on the Sound averages 70 degrees. This is a privately owned cottage in Harbor Village, which has onsite management and free linen service. All linens are provided, including sheets, blankets, pillows and pillowcases. The bathroom is stocked with bath towels and washcloths, bar soap, TP and a hair dryer. Extra towels and washcloths are available free at the cottage supply shed next to the office. You will need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. There is an iron and ironing board. In the kitchen, the cottage has paper towels, a bottle of dish soap, a dish towel, and a pot scrubber, Dishes, utensils, pots and pans, glasses, wine glasses, lobster pot. The coffee maker is a drip coffee maker and we provide the filters but not the coffee. Please bring a bag of your favorite ground coffee. Free daily trash pick-up from outside your front door each morning. Harbor Village is truly a unique one-of-a kind jewel on Cape Cod. It is a quiet, secluded compound of 21 Cape style cottages on a 17-acre private parcel studded with pine trees, and a private sandy path leading to two ocean beaches. We are located on the south shore of Cape Cod at the edge of Hyannis Port, within walking distance of the Kennedy compound. If you follow of our footpath to the beach, there are also sidewalks on Ocean Ave and Sea Street that go all the way to historic Main Street in Hyannis. Harbor Village is the perfect location for your Cape Cod vacation. There is no other place on the Cape that has the quiet solitude of Harbor Village, while also providing the excitement of all of Cape Cod’s attractions nearby. The Cape Cod Melody Tent, and Historic Main Street in downtown Hyannis with shops, restaurants and pubs, are less than a mile away. Take the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard from Hyannis Harbor, one mile from our Harbor Village entrance. Hyannis is considered to be "The Capital" of Cape Cod. If you stay for a week in any other town on the Cape, you will find yourself driving in Cape traffic to Hyannis nearly every day of your vacation, because Hyannis is where all of the action is, and it has some of the best beaches in Massachusetts. However, I am very disappointed with it. Not because of the mouse droppings inside, nor the advertised linen service that was actually self service. The beach that was nearly inundated with plant life washing ashore wasn’t the issue either. It was that the interior of the house was devoid of any charm. The walls and kitchen were dull and worn. The carpets and carpeting was dirty, needing a deep clean. This was not the case of all the houses at Village Harbour. Initially were shown Whalers Watch and upon unloading our things into that house, I noticed it was very charming and in great condition. It’s too bad the property manager had to ask us to move out of that house and that she was unappreciative of the trouble we went to in loading all our things up, not long after unloading them into that house. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Bethany F. Walk down a short trail to the beach. Walk to downtown Hyannis is about a mile and an easy walk. We walked everywhere. Cottage was well equipped, clean and cozy. Jul 14, 2013 #### Serene and Comfortable This lovely little Cape Cod-styled bungalow is just right. I miss it still. It has nice decor and my sweetheart and I felt right at home. Its wonderful to come into Harbor Village (in a very beautiful part of Hyannis Port) and the owners and other guests will give you a wave or say hello. I found the owners to be delightful and helpful without being intrusive. I do enjoy some privacy and nights were peaceful. The property and individual rentals are all so beautiful and unique.
