Cabin was quaint, quiet and comfortable. Everything it promised. Wish we had more time to spend there relaxing, 2 days was not enough. Would definitely go back. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was adequately equipped, the beds comfortable. No mosquitoes or blackflies and neighbours were quiet. Kayaks and paddleboat were gratis. There was a sweet two-seater rocking chair that we moved to the side of the lake and spent a delightful evening watching the sun set and the family of ducks that came to visit. The highway seems close on the map, but the road sound was very faint - only noticeable when I actively tried to hear it. There is a fire pit and gas barbecue along with an equipped small kitchen (toaster oven, no range, bar fridge, electric kettle.) We really enjoyed our stay!! The lake and area was beautiful, however the cabin was very old and out-dated (should we return, we would request one of the renovated cabins). However it was comfortable and had adequate cookware to make our dinner, as the cabins are quite remote. The staff is very friendly and we enjoyed getting information about the area.
