I also really appreciated the upstairs balcony because it rained a few days and I was still able to sit up there and enjoy the water. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly and walkable. I love the little park nearby and my dogs loved the beach. I’ve been to this little town several times now and will definitely come back. Make sure to dress for all seasons- it got very cold at night and rained a few days so I’m glad I brought rain boots. The kitchen isn’t super large but I just brought pre prepared meals from the butcher shop- I was on vacation after all! We each had our own bathrooms and comfortable beds with space to gather and play games. Nice quiet residential neighborhood and oceanfront property. Plenty of room for gathering our clan and still leaving us just as many areas for privacy. The fire pit and deck areas were a hit! Super comfy beds. There was plenty of room for 7 adults and 2 teens/tweens to hang out. Everyone had a bedroom of their choosing and no lines for the bathrooms, as there were 3 in the house. Loved that we could all sit at the same long table to eat our meals, and play games. We enjoyed watching the lake as it changed from day to day and sometimes hour to hour. Met the owner upon arrival and he was just so helpful. Showed us all of the amenities as well as everything we could enjoy while at his property. All of the accommodations were great from the thick plush towels to the beds. We just can’t say enough about the house and the owners. It was very cool and made for a nice experience. House was great. Plenty of bedroom (6) to choose from...equipped for breakfast... no icemaker....cracked open a few trays however that providing ice needed. We had a perfect closing day at cedar point yesterday. We have passes (we live about an hour and a half south), my sister met us here from Michigan. Celebrated my son turning 8 with cousins. The rocks and waves and views and park were wonderful. I loved how the house is spread out so everyone had their space. The air hockey table was a hit with the kids. Appreciated all of the extras as well (I.e. toys/games/puzzles for kids, muffin pans, wine openers, spices, silly things we needed and you had!). There was a "GREAT TABLE" that we could all sit around for meals or just a gathering place. (10 adults) The fact that we were 10 steps from the lake was amazing. The younger kids had plenty of space to play games outside, as well as, the adults too... The fishing was so much fun for everyone. The upstairs was a perfect place to nap and there is a deck off the 2nd floor with a beautiful view. Actually our dogs loved to lay out on the deck and watch the water and the family below. The bathrooms were all nice size and the washer and dryer was perfect. 2 fridge/freezer was very nice for the storage of fruit and veggies and beverages etc. I really cannot say enough wonderful things about the property. The bedrooms are all nice size, there is extra storage and space for beach toys or extra coolers. You really can't go wrong at this property...you can stay here and never leave and enjoy every day but those that are looking for a little more adventure there is Cedar Point and Put in Bay so close.....and so much more. The owners emailed with check in instructions and checked in on us during our stay and answered all questions that I had quickly prior to our arrival.
