Enjoy the convenience of home while experiencing Lake Erie, Cedar Point, Put in Bay, Kelley's Island, downtown Sandusky, Kalahari, Summit Motorsports Park, Sports Force Parks, Sheldon's Marsh, Old Women's Creek, Thomas Edison Birthplace and so much more. \-Fully stocked kitchen with custom island \-Living Room \-2 Full Bathrooms (One on first floor and one on second floor) \-Laundry Room (Basement) Sleeping Arrangement: Bedroom 1: One Queen Bed (Second Floor) Bedroom 2: Two Double Beds (Second Floor) Pull Out Sofa in Living Room Quiet, lake community with a nice mix of low-key locals and summer tourists Home of Sports Force Parks (5 min) and Cedar Point Amusement Park (10 min) along with the ferry to Kelley's Island and Put in Bay (15 min). We are centrally located near many hiking trails - Sheldon's Marsh (2 min), Old Woman's Creek (10 min), Edison Woods Metro Park (10 min), Pipe Creek (10 min), The Coupling Metro Park (10 min), Mill Hollow (20 min), and the Castalia Quarry (20 min). Looking for Golf? Sawmill Creek is less than a mile away and Thunderbird Golf Course (10 min) along with Woussickett (20 min) are rated highly within a short drive from our cottage! Rain never puts a damper on our area as we are within short drives to the following indoor entertainment facilities; Kalahari (10 min), Great Wolf (10 min), Castaway Bay (10 min), Ghostly Manor (10 min), Main Event (30 minutes), Sky zone (30 minutes) and Cleveland Aquarium (45 minutes) Beach directions: After exiting the front door, turn right on the sidewalk and right down Surf Dr. Head left on Shore Dr and the lakefront park will be on your right. The lakefront park is only a few houses away with a beach and pier connected. Very convenient location. Neighborhood homes are hit or miss - but in general one feels safe. The outdoor area had nowhere to sit and was dirty. The neighborhood was rough looking. We entered the house and the smell was strong. It smelled like an old cottage. Not what i expected. The walls were all dirty. There were spiders/webs everywhere. The couch was dingy and gross. The downstairs bathroom light switch stopped working. The upstairs bathroom sink has no hot water. The basement was disgusting and the guest is required to go down there to put the towels in the wash before you leave. I would never recommend this house to anyone. ##### Suzanne G. Location was perfect - just a block from the water and five miles from Cedar Point. Also close to Rt 2 for easy driving to Marblehead, etc. Inside, stay was comfortable and we had plenty of room. The owners have done a nice job with a remodel of an older home. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. We arrived pretty late and it was simple, seamless, easy access. Off street parking was great so when it snowed we didn't get too much on the car :) The cottage was so cute. Loved the lake decor. It was my teenage daughter and I - we felt right at home. The beds were comfortable and clean.The location was perfect for us - it was only 8 minutes away from Cedar Point Sports so we were pleased with the quick commute. Good home for a small family or couple getaway. It’s located very close to Cedar Point and everything in Sandusky. Neighborhood is very quite and chill. The two bedrooms and 2 baths worked out perfectly for my family. The neighborhood was quiet and easy access to what we were there for. Hair everywhere. Dirty floors when we would wipe a spill. Candy wrappers. A hair brush in the sofa. Filth all over the doors and no soap in the bathrooms. At least the beds were clean.
