The AC unit is on the bedroom floor but our 2 little boys slept on the pullout in the living room and it was pretty warm and uncomfortable (80ish) for our boys sleeping in the living room. The AC unit vents out of the bedroom window, but it's rigged up with cardbaord and tape. It's better than no AC, but not ideal.There are no windows with to open and the doors don't have screens to keep bugs out so we couldn't cool off the living room. We probably wouldn't have rented this place if we knew it only had a portable AC unit in the bedroom and not in the main living area. Normally this area doesn't get super hot, but this cute little place is definitely setup more for winter than for summer guests. If it had a minisplit in the living room also and screens on the doors (so we could cool off the place in the evening) it would have been perfect.There was a critter in the heating duct of the bedroom that was really loud and kept us up for several hours between 2am and 8am. Not the hosts fault on that, but it made for a few less than ideal nights. ##### Ryan D. Just a suggestion for the owner: having some kind of sheer window covering on the windows/door would allow light into the unit while maintaining privacy. The issue was the management company--their directions to the condo were inaccurate, they couldn't be reached after hours, and we were not able to get into the unit for our first night's stay. The management company was slow to respond to our complaint and has promised us a refund which we haven't received yet. ##### Susan B.
