Fantastic 2 BD 3 BA ski/lake condo, updated for comforts but retaining its rustic charm. Rare layout for this complex - top of the building unit has 2 bedrooms upstairs each with ensuite bathrooms to maintain privacy, and extra 1/2 bath on the main level allowing easy access. Sprawling master bed/bath with king log frame bed and floor/crib space, dual sinks, walk in closet, glass-enclosed shower and jacuzzi tub. 2nd BD with queen and queen loft, spacious closet, shower in bath. Queen pull-out in living room (6+2). Spacious deck with cafe seating and propane BBQ grill. Stainless appliances, flat screen smart TV, DirecTV plus wired for BYO streaming stick. Spring, Summer, Winter, or Fall, this is a great staging location. Foot access to Anderson Cove beach provides wintertime ice fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing access, and summertime fishing, SUP/kayaking, and picture perfect beach days. World-class road and mountain biking abound right from the front door. 4 season hiking - waterfalls, canyons, knife-edge ridges, overlooks, and amazing scenery all around. Anchor your boat offshore overnight and avoid launch ramp craziness while still getting a great night's sleep. This complex is 10 minutes from ultra-luxe Snowbasin and is the closest nightly lodging you’ll find, summer or winter. The ski bus stops immediately prior to Snowbasin, and you’ll be the first to be let off at the end of the day (Note: 2024 - bus stop is now at the adjacent campground). 30 minutes’ drive gets you to Powder Mountain, a unique European-style resort where you park at the top and ski down into the bowls. Backcountry opportunities abound. No matter what season, pick a direction and go! Community pool (summer), wading pool (summer) and (actually hot!) hot tub (year round). Tennis/pickleball and basketball courts (summer). Billiards, foosball and not the world's most elaborate gym await you in the clubhouse. Bonus: we are directly across from the community hot tub. An international dark sky park, The Valley is to this day mostly farms, ranches, and hard working cowboys and cowgirls. There is only one wine/liquor store in The Valley, but Utah’s own ‘5% by volume’ beer is available at gas stations etc (and don’t miss the distillery!). Perfect for skiing at Snowbasin, which was only a 12 min easy drive away. The surrounding area is beautiful, quiet and rural and not overdeveloped like most towns near ski areas, with two great little village centers for exploring and shopping. The condo is exactly as pictured, laid out well for a family of skiers, with plenty of storage and room for wet gear and skis. Easy covered parking outside right by the stairs for quick loading and unloading on snowy days. The condo is upper level, so there are two flights outside for climbing, but it affords good light and views. Terrific view of the ski area from our windows, so we could watch the weather in the morning before heading up the road. Loved having two floors, with two spacious bedrooms and nice full baths. Great water pressure, too! Kitchen is very well stocked for cooking meals, which doesn’t always occur at rental properties. Loved the ambiance of the gas fireplace and cozy living room. This was the second time I have stayed at this condo, and the second time was just as great as the first! The lake was at a record high, so we had no beach, but that made us venture a bit to other spots on this beautiful lake. We made a trip up to Causey Res. for hiking and cliff jumping (the teenagers and dad!), and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after the day’s adventures. This condo was a fantastic location close to Snowbasin and Powder mountain. The condo was an easy drive from Ogden and the resorts. Everything was very comfortable, clean and easy to use. Communication with Jennifer was quick too! I would highly recommend this property! In terms of logistics, I would definitely suggest renters have a good SUV for the roads to the ski resorts. Travel from Ogden and in the valley was not a problem in all weather conditions. The Valley Market was really well stocked and we were able to enjoy dinners at home easily. ##### Alison T. This place was super clean and super cozy. Tons of space and sleeping arrangements - kids switched around each night. We ate in most nights as take out nearby is very limited. But this gave us more time to hang out and spend even more quality time together. Snow was not great but snowbasin makes snow so still OK to ski on. We ventured out and discovered North Fork cross country trails (so fun! saw deer, hawks, turkeys?), went snowshoeing, snow hiking across the street, and built snowmen and snowladies in the campground next door. Hot tub was great right across the parking lot! So much to do!! Huge grocery store (can pre-order pickup) down the canyon right before the city, and amazing waterfall on the right just before the end of the canyon. Worth going there just to see it if you like waterfalls. The outside world can't get you here. It's truly blissful. Wish we were still there. ##### Skylar M. Snowbasin resort is a short drive distance, which is very convenient. Condo (townhouse) is big, very clean, and has everything you might need. Kitchen is fully stocked. I liked the easy access to the pool – which was refreshing after a day of local hikes (I used Alltrails App for that – “Icebox Canyon Loop” was gorgeous). There is a porch facing the mountains, and a fireplace with an over-sized log mantle, and I’m sure a cool ‘romantic’ feel in the wintertime (though my stay was summer). The washer-dryer came in super handy for my travel wardrobe. Quiet complex. The owners were responsive and helpful. This unit quickly felt like a ‘home away from home’ and I would stay again. ##### Timothy D. Gorgeous view of Snow Basin and environs from the great-room or spacious deck/grill area; all the amenities. Furnishings are top notch, natural wood, very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and new appliances. Really nice jet bathtub and spacious shower. Plenty of room for a larger group to feel comfortable. Fast internet, convenient parking, great security; a short, comfortable walk to the lake/beach with outdoor picnicking at the Park adjacent to the complex. Very responsive host.
