"The breakfast was included it was good. There is a machine where you can make your own waffles. I had a suite it was clean but there is no microwave it's only available on the first floor. I was on the 6th floor I can look outside the window and see my car the suite is a nice size."

"The Harmony Inn has lovely amenities and we felt it was worth the rate charged. However, we did not know ahead of time that the room was actually in the basement of a home. We also did not know that our bathroom would be down the hall, through a public area. Finally, we did not know that we would have to lug our suitcases down and up a narrow staircase, made narrower by a chair lift probably installed to make the place handicapped accessible. We were surprised by all of it. When our TV didn't work, we sent a text to the owner - it was before 9pm. He didn't respond until the next morning, saying he hoped the TV fixed itself which, of course, it did not. The owners are older and he either didn't check his text or had already gone to bed. We think these details about the property should have been disclosed prior to booking as not everybody is comfortable staying in the basement of a private home. Also, the booking description mentioned "fresh eggs in the morning" but it is a continental breakfast at best and the only eggs are hard boiled. It is not a hot breakfast and there is no staff, just cold and room temperature items set out for self-serve. Finally, there is a convenient washer and dryer in the basement along with the rooms. There is 1 detergent pod available. However, if you want to do your own laundry, they charge you $8. This seems excessive, most likely deterring all but the most desperate of guests. We won't be returning."
