It had everything we needed and really was a lovely home-from-home. The cottage is spacious and full of character. The owner gave us a friendly, warm welcome when we arrived. We couldn’t have asked for a tastier breakfast. The owner sends you a welcome email when you book and you get to choose your breakfast. The fresh produce is then there for you to prepare yourselves. We had delicious smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with English muffins. Tea, coffee, milk and orange juice all there for you too. You can park your car right outside the cottage. It’s a 5 minute walk to the local pubs, The Duchess and King William. Comfy bed with high quality linen. The toiletries were a great little luxury! When we returned after dark, the lights had been put on for us, and our towels and flannels had been put on the heated towel rail.
