The cabin is furnished much the same as a small house. The living room has upholstered furniture and offers cable TV, internet/wifi and there is also a DVD player. The kitchen includes a full size electric range with oven, full-size refrigerator, microwave oven, coffeepot, toaster, cookware and dinnerware. The dining area has a table with 4 chairs. We provide pillows, blankets and bedspreads. Guests bring their own sheets and towels. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room We provide toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels and a bath mat. The bathroom has a shower (no tub), toilet and sink. We are located 6.5 miles south of Huntingdon. We are 5 miles from Allegrippis Trail for biking enthusiasts and Raystown Lake for water sports. The rolling countryside includes creeks and the Juniata River offering many options for hiking, birdwatching, fishing, hunting, boating, whatever the nature-lover desires. We are approximately 8 miles (15 minutes) from Juniata College and 37 miles (45 minutes) from State College and Penn State University. Completely furnished with most of the comforts of home, we rent by the night, the week, or the month from March 1 thru December 1 (weather permitting). Our location is a 6.5-acre wooded property. Weekend rates are slightly higher than weekday rates due to demand. We may rent by the month with the rate dependent on the month(s) requested. Call for this pricing, please. Come to Raystown and enjoy tons of water activities: swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking as well as hiking, biking and bird-watching! A vacation in Raystown will be one to remember for years to come. Can't take a week off? Visit us for a long weekend or, even better, come during the week for a discounted price! Raystown Lake is a popular waterway in south central Pennsylvania. The 29 mile long lake and surrounding area are owned in large part by the federal government with several state-owned parks and forests close by. It is a wonderful area to spend a family vacation with great hiking, hunting, boating, swimming, fishing, and bird watching. Other popular attractions include caverns, railroading, horse-back riding, lake cruises, boat rentals just to mention a few. For golfers, Huntingdon Country Club offers a public golf course about 4 miles north of us. Volunteers have created the Allegrippis Trail which is popular with biking enthusiasts. Fishing tournaments are frequently held in the area. Cabin is rustic with old couch/chair that are way too soft. Bed was like sleeping on a marshmallow. Needs to be updated. Won't go back there. ##### Joanne P. I am very sensitive to these and my ears were ringing very loud the whole time I was there. Everything that was noted in the advertisement was just as it was, most notably, the cleanliness.
