Disruption will be kept to a minimum during this time. Please note that the park are developing the site and will be laying turf along with new road surfaces, there will be machinery and noise therefore may be some disruption although the park have assured us they will do their best to keep this to a minimum. Work is currently taking place and should be complete by 6th August 2018. Please be aware that there are ongoing building works throughout September and October due to the park’s extension. Work will be carried Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am to 5pm. Please note due to the location of Sycamore Pet 1CD and Vogue Classique 3CD you may be more effected by the noise of the park’s extension. Our postcode does not work in a sat nav! Please look out for us, next to Skirlaugh Garden Centre, on the A165 halfway between Coniston and Skirlaugh. For detailed directions, please check the welcome email. There is a £50 refundable security deposit - payable before arrival (please note the park will send a link to their online portal where payment can be made). Please note that due to health and safety guidance, we are not able to provide a cot mattress. No stag or hen parties. So due to a last minute opportunity, we made a very quick decision to spend Christmas at Willow Pastures, praying there would be a vacancy. Thankfully there was. We stayed 23-27 Dec in SilverBirch 10\. I'd packed a pop up Christmas tree to add a bit of festive decor, but I needn't have bothered. On pulling up we could see there was a lovely tree twinkling in the lounge. There was also a box of luxury mince pies and Christmas card waiting for us from the park, as well as a hand written card welcoming us back, a box of chocs and 2 small bottles of prosecco for us to enjoy.The lodge had everything we needed. It even had a torch for us to use as there's no 'street lights', only path lamps. It was warm, comfortable and cosy. A lovely lady knocked on our door on the Tuesday morning checking everything was OK and to our satisfaction was there anything we needed etc. Unfortunately, we didn't get her name. The lodge was warm, comfortable and cosy. The large screen smart TV was perfect for all our Crimbo viewing. The beds were comfortable. I certainly wasn't 'craving' my own bed like I usually do on other trips. We didnt use the hot tub, but someone came to check it every day.The staff on site are friendly and really helpful. We managed to book a table for Christmas Eve at the Gardeners Arms next door. The food was fabulous. Well worth a visit.
