"This room we booked does not have windows, the photos were misleading as they used the pictures of their bigger room. The common kitchen area have windows therefore the room is tagged with "city view". Which we found very disappointing. Do not go with this option unless you're comfortable without any window. "I did not like that they refuse to cancel my reservation after 15 minutes I booked in. They are in the middle of nowhere you do not feel safe. Breakfast was not bad. Their add shows pool but NO POOL. Taxi will not take you to Male Ferry as it is 10 minutes walk. Small sketchy streets "

"The hotel in general exceeded my expectations. As a road warrior I typically end up staying at Hampton inn type properties. Unima Grand is the Hampton inn of Male. Great familiar like environment to make you feel comfortable. The staff connected via WhatsApp prior to arrival at to make the transfer from the airport to hotel seamless. Check in was smooth with formalities filled out while I waited at the airport. Breakfast and the on site restaurant was exceptional! Lots of fresh local offerings at a very good price. Only 2 areas for improvement. Wifi was limited to 1 device at a time. My door had some issue with the lock. Possibly a low battery. Again, nothing really to complain about."
