The view across the lake is of Sequoyah State Park where outdoor enthusiasts love the nearby hiking, picnicking, guided horseback trail rides, wildlife watching, golf, fishing and so much more! Be sure to stock up on supplies before coming so you can relax and unwind with your family and friends! This private oasis is large enough for everyone to enjoy their own space while also offering plenty of comfortable seating and gathering areas for enjoying the company of everyone in your group. This reservation will give you access to all 3 homes. The main house is the Lake Escape and consists of... • 4 bedrooms with \*\*3 king size beds!\*\*and a bunkbed with twin over full beds. 1 bedroom on main floor, 1 in the loft, 2 downstairs. • 3 bathrooms consist of 2 en-suite bathrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom • Completely remodeled chef’s kitchen is well-appointed with everything you’ll need • Panoramic views from the adjacent sunroom can’t be beat! The second home is our Hillside Haven and consists of... • Bunkhouse style home with 1 bedroom that sleeps 8! (10 if a couple are small children sharing the full size bed. This room consists of 2 queen beds and 2 bunkbeds with twin over full beds. • Fun for the entire family with foosball, a 55 inch TV in the bedroom, ping pong table and 65 inch TV in the living room. • 1 bathroom with walk in shower • Remodeled kitchen is well-appointed with everything you’ll need! \*\*Please note there is no oven, so we provide a 7 in 1 air-fryer, oven combination as well as a cook plate, microwave, crock pot, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, and many other surprises\*\* • Lake views from the back deck can’t be beat! Fort Gibson Lake is a 20,000-surface-acre lake nestled in the hills of eastern Oklahoma, just 50 miles from Tulsa but far from civilization. With 225 miles of shoreline, this crystal-clear lake feels like your own private oasis (and is great for fishing!) Drive 30 minutes to Tahlequah for a relaxing float trip down the Illinois River. Afterwards, catch some live music & local craft beer at Kroner & Baer. Don’t miss The Gathering Place in Tulsa, a 66-acre riverfront park which was recently named USA Today’s Best New Attraction in the country. Lake Escape, Hillside Haven and The Hideaway @The Roadrunner Retreat are located just 21 miles from Talequah and Muskogee, OK. Be sure to stock up on supplies before coming, as you’ll be 15 minutes away from the nearest...anything. When you arrive enter through the white gated entrance, drive down a dirt road to the main house. There is parking in the circle driveway in front of the main house, the driveway in front of the green house with the decorated double doors and in the designated overflow parking marked The Hideaway. You can access each home through a self check in smart lock. We are available by phone, email, text and booking app. We have someone just 30 minutes away in case of emergency. \*\*There is Wi-Fi at The Lake Escape and Hillside Haven!! \*\*The Hideaway does not have wi-fi or a TV\*\* Hence the name The Hideaway. Cell phones work really well here and you are welcome to bring a laptop and use your hotspot to stream movies if you prefer. If you need to park a boat, we have a boat slip for you! There are a number of options on the lake for boat rentals and just up the road is where you will be able to drop the boat into the water. We have firewood stacked for your use on the property as well as the opportunity to collect fallen branches, and of course you’re welcome to bring your own firewood(a good idea in case it has been raining) so you can have dry wood to enjoy as many smores as your heart desires! Needed space for the bride and groom to have privacy (The Hideaway was perfect). Needed space for the bachelors party and the Hillside Haven worked out great for that. Finally needed space for my wife and I along with adult children and grandson - Lake Escape was wonderful for us to use. The long weekend rental worked out perfectly for our visit.
