Beautiful home located in a quiet cove. The house was very well kept and immaculately clean! The large sectional couch was so comfortable! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the dock with free use of kayaks and the paddle boards. They even caught a few fish off the dock! The diving board was also a plus! The host Sarah was very helpful and responded to our questions within minutes. There's a Market Dollar General Store 5 minutes away! This house is out there and I would recommend getting there for the first time before dark, as the driveway to the house itself can be tricky. However, after that it was easy to find. The house was great for sitting around, relaxing, firing up the grill, or just sitting and listening to the lake and nature. We wanted something country, but not necessarily in the middle of nowhere; this was it. Grocery store is about 20 minutes away, but once you get food there is not much else you'll need here. The upstairs loft was great, the main floor is plenty spacious outside of the sleeping quarters, and the basement is private and has room for days as well as it's own kitchen area. ##### Kevin H. I grew up going to Smith Mountain Lake and I have been wanting to re-create those memories with my own family and children. I picked the perfect home. The home was perfectly situated in a calm cove where my family could safely swim and play on rafts and jump off the dock. The home was clean, comfortable and inviting. I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience and hope to plan another trip there soon. Great communication, plenty of space for four adults and three children. Very spacious property. The couch in the living room was quite comfortable for pur group during hang out time. Enjoyed using the grill and the gas fire pit. The cove was really pleasant and quiet. The neighbor’s dog likes to come by and was super nice.
