This is where, on July 7, 1777, Vermont, Massachusetts and New Hampshire troops ended the British pursuit. There is a small museum and a half mile walking trail around the field with signs telling of the history of the battle. Gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. L'emplacement est superbe ainsi que l'agencement de ce B&B. Nous avions une petite chambre très agréable de laquelle nous entendions couler un ruisseau. C'était presque comme dormir à la belle étoile. Mike a été d'excellent conseil. Il nous a recommandé une magnifique petite promenade ainsi qu'un bon restaurant. Son petit déjeuner était également excellent. Accueil très sympathique, quelques bons conseils sur les restaurants. La chambre n'était pas très grande, mais elle était propre. Et les lits étaient confortables. On a apprécié la machine à café dans la chambre. Seul bémol : à 4 personnes, il y faisait vite chaud. On a aussi apprécié les chaises autour du brasero sur la terrasse à l'arrière de l'hôtel : c'était très agréable pour un petit apéro en famille. This is where, on July 7, 1777, Vermont, Massachusetts and New Hampshire troops ended the British pursuit. There is a small museum and a half mile walking trail around the field with signs telling of the history of the battle. Gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains.
