Santa Cruz beach is very busy and not that large a beach. When the cruise ships are in it's terribly crowded.
There is no single Huatulco Beach. Chahue is close enough to walk to and spotlessly clean but surrounded by an upscale resort. Santa Cruz is a short drive/inexpensive taxi ride (easy- all destination prices are posted) and has good swimming and local food. Entrega is a little further, but fabulous for swimming and snorkelling (with good, inexpensive equipment rental). For the investment of a few beers, you can get a restaurant table and umbrella.
Visit this quiet beach on the Bahía de Tangolunda for safe swimming, pretty sunsets and boat trips around picturesque islets.
Why not spend a carefree afternoon at Arena Beach during your travels in Santa María Huatulco?
Spot luxury yachts at this tranquil marina, which is a gateway to the picturesque beaches, bays and coves situated along Huatulco’s attractive Bahías de Huatulco.
Play volleyball and soccer on the soft sand of Chahue Bay’s longest beach, a favorite spot among locals and tourists for outdoor recreation.
Why not spend a lazy afternoon at Playa Arrocito during your trip to Santa María Huatulco?
Why not spend a lazy afternoon at Playa La Guerrilla during your trip to Santa María Huatulco? Wander the beautiful beaches in this romantic area.
