This place is full of hospitality. It was clean, the rooms are big and spacious. The beds are comfortable. They have everything you need for adults, kids, and family’s. We visited the Spa everyday we were there. AU and SA give the best massages, facials and are most accommodating. AU gives the BEST Thai massages! You have to visit the spa and ask for these two. The food is great! The bar is fun! Would definitely go back! Though Minibar in room only contains 1 bottle of sparkling water, 1 pack of juice and a pack of milk together with a small chips bag and crackers. Room service is only available until 2230 which i think is early for a 5 star hotel, the hotels shuttle service was a positive surprise even though there where not as many times you could order it. The staff was extremely nice and service minded which gav the little extra. Rooms are spacious and gave a feel of modern luxury. We’re very demanding guests, yet every time the hotel manages to exceed our expectations. The service is warm, personal, and attentive – almost nothing is impossible, and the staff genuinely go above and beyond to make sure we feel at home. While there may sometimes be minor language barriers, the kindness and dedication more than make up for it. What we appreciate the most is how well our children are taken care of. The Kids Club is of the highest quality, with plenty of activities. The option to book a private babysitter is a game-changer for couples who also want some time to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The food is a true highlight – varied, delicious, and of excellent quality. The breakfast is top-notch, with something to suit every taste. Even my wife, who isn’t a big fan of Thai food, always finds plenty of great options. The hotel grounds are large, green, and beautiful – ideal for walks and recreation, adding to the relaxed and spacious atmosphere. One small area for improvement is the gym, which could benefit from an upgrade to match the overall high standards of the resort. Although we didn’t visit during any holidays this year, we’ve previously stayed for both Christmas and New Year’s, and it was absolutely magical. As a 5-star hotel, So Sofitel Hua Hin is much below our expectation. 1\. In the beginning, we were told that the family room is on the 3rd floor. We agreed the upgrade for this reason. However, we ended up being in the 1st floor near the entrance. 2\. Seeing the attached picture, the baby cod was broken when my son was sleeping! I still cannot believe this was happening in a 5-star hotel. My son was not even jumping but just lying down on it. We used to stay in Oakwood where the baby cod was very nice and cozy. We had expected the same level in So Sofitel but we were wrong. 3\. The room were were staying was 101\. The telephone was not functioning, some of the lights were not working. Once the light was replaced, it cannot even be switched off when we wanted to sleep. We even have to call the room service only to switch off the light for us. 4\. For breakfast and dinner, the seats were completely not enough. The level of service was not aligned with the price we were charged. 5\. The TV was not even smartTV. The Chromecast was not functioning properly. Even the technician cannot make it work. Overall speaking, this was a very disappointing experinece.
