The Space:
Maggies Farm Stay by Tiny Away is situated in rural New South Wales, just an hour drive from Newcastle and 2 hours away from Sydney. Nearby Wollombi Markets, Hunter Valley Wineries, and Yengo National Park.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to clean rainwater to bathe and drink. Split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. This includes an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, except for the land host's private residence.

By public transport: We recommend guests to travel by private vehicle as there are no public transports that travels directly from our property. Thank you.
Other Things to Note:
IMPORTANT: Please reach out to the host confirm your arrival. Please inform the host that you will bring a pet for your stay prior to your arrival for approval, and the fee payment shall be paid upfront directly to your host. Kindly get approval from your land host, Sharryn, if you bring your pets to stay. Please fill out the form and attach proof of payment. Payment of $30 per pet per booking is payable at the time of booking. Attach proof of payment advice to the pet approval form.
- Wifi is available. Please note that Wifi at the Tiny House is only in range at the Tiny House, not the front gate or when you walk away from the Tiny House.
- Mobile reception is poor
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Pets MUST be kept on a lead at all times, no exceptions
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Safety guidelines
- Please keep an eye on your children, as there are unfenced dams on the site
- Please don’t wear open-toed shoes during snake season or when walking outdoors
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- PLEASE READ: Campfires are at the discretion of the owner, except when there is a total fire ban, then they are not permitted. We are in the country in the fire season, there will be no campfires in the summer
Important note:
- Drive 5 mins out of the gate along Putty Rd for garbage disposal and dispose of your trash in the roadside bins. Alternatively, you can leave your trash outside the tiny house and pay a $25 disposal fee to your land host.
- For stays of 5 nights or more (or for bookings of 5 nights or more), an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
