Each day we commuted to Ann Arbor for sporting events for our kids. It contained all the amenities for our stay. There are separate living areas. I used the loft space upstairs as a workspace. The kitchen was well stocked, we used the grill, coffee maker and washer and dryer. We had 4 teens with us and there was plenty of room. One of the bedrooms had bunkbeds, a trundle bed and an air mattress. The kids made use of the kayaks and the location provided easy access to Thompson Lake. The Neighborhood is quiet and perfect for morning runs. We referred to this house as our retreat and would highly recommend this location. It is close to many stores and restaurants and by the lake, yet it is on a very quiet cul de sac. The layout is wonderful, you never feel crowded, with two living areas one downstairs and one upstairs to use. The interior is updated, very relaxing and extremely clean. The host was so friendly and even warned us when there was going to be bad weather coming in one night. We enjoyed kayaking down the canal to the lake more than once.
